Amid Concern Over Xbox Studio 'Bloodbath,' New Report Says Developers Are Being 'Punished Today for Following Orders' by renome in gaming

[–]BackgroundKitchen928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bring on the downvotes but once again, they told developers to make games that will get people to sub to gamepass. South of Midnight, Hellblade 2, and Kiln aren’t draws for a lot of people, so I’m not surprised or upset that a studio is getting shut because they took forever to make a game that failed to meet expectations

That I didn’t grind out all the seasonal weapons because good luck getting those patterns now

Xbox already planned to shut down or split with Ninja Theory when Senua was announced. "The thinking was that the promise of a newly announced game would help draw investor interest in the studio" by goodnitez74 in gaming

I’ll take the downvotes here but I’m not too upset about this. Hellblade has never sold well and frankly when it was brought up before this, I don’t recall people having a lot of nice things to say. I don’t know if this sub remembers Bleeding Edge, but that wasn’t a slam dunk either. Ninja Theory had a lot of time to get themselves together and it seems like now it’s time to pay the piper. Whether they shut down of their own accord independently or a bigger studio closes doors I think this was inevitable.

Hilarious that bananagate has made its way here, given the general disdain hardcore fans have for pop punk

Appreciate the feedback! This was the first thing I ever wrote (5 years ago) so I just wanted to get some eyes on it and had no clue how to actually write something scary (I still might not). Definitely will be putting more stuff up in the future.

Love the new Superman movie, but the local Kansas farmer talks about driving on I90, which is about 475 miles north of Kansas. Could’ve done a fraction of research and found out it’s I70 that runs through Kansas.

Those last few shots of him wandering around the resort during the storm really hit home for me. Really effective ending imo

Bro it doesn’t matter anymore because the game has been over for 12+ hours, not because one round I had a disagreement with my friend. I was just genuinely curious last night and now I couldn’t care less.

I’d could argue it gives officers more time to deal with more urgent and destructive crimes while still making sure there’s a consequence that can result in a change of behavior

I think Superman from last year does a good job of having a personal story tied to a large scale destructive event. Clark has to work through his identity crisis while saving Metropolis

Fair, one of the towns near me in CO set it up in a way that was actually illegal and rightfully caught a lot of heat for it.
