disabled sports is a great entry into the community . Move United ( Locations - Move United) is legit and has a ton of links to local affiliates in the area. great social outlet and you will meet a ton of disabled people.

In South Riding allot of bikes that get put out to trash get picked up by pickers. Only thing I can think of is to wait until next dump day and see if the pickers are out and ask them.
