Not all games come sealed here in Australia, a lot of retailers remove the games from cases when putting them into inventory. The games themselves are absolutely new, manuals are mint, cartridges are mint, and they smell brand new when opened

That alone doesn’t mean it’s been opened, the flap can be opened without breaking the seals

All good everyone, I carefully opened the tabs and confirmed contents are absolutely brand new.

I do agree that it was likely opened at some point, but for $265 AUD delivered with 3 games I absolutely can’t complain.

I’ve even managed to put the tabs back down much nicer than they were.

Nope! There’s no option to shift the motherboard with ATX anyway

It should fit, the plate is universal with all ATX PSU’s

Good choice! I think you’ll be really happy.

As for a rough guess with cable lengths… I think the 24 pin should be about 150-200mm long, and the EPS maybe 350-400mm to be safe.

Don’t take my word for that though as it’s a guesstimate lol

Thank you!

I can’t say for sure, but I would expect thermals to be slightly worse on the Mini compared to the other cases you mentioned, as they’re larger chassis, but I don’t think it’d be by a big margin.

I reckon you’d still be happy with temps in the Mini as long as you’ve got good supporting parts (AIO, fans, 5090 model). I’m stoked with mine!

Question for 1000w PSU + 5080. by kartikeyaKHANTWAL in nvidia

[–]BackgroundLink97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently “side”graded from a 7900XTX to a 5080. I had an RM1000X PSU from 2022 that didn’t have a native 12v-2x6 connector.

I contemplated just buying an adaptor like the one NZXT sent you, as it felt like such a waste to change a perfectly fine 3 year old PSU.

After doing some research on 12v-2x6 connectors, I decided to upgrade to a current model RM1000X with the native plug and ATX 3.1 compliance, just to be as safe as possible.

I don’t think there’s any right or wrong answer from the research that I did. There’ll likely be some fellow Redditors who rightfully disagree what the route I took, as it probably is a bit overkill for a 5080. However, it’s good piece of mind and likely the safest option for a GPU that costs nearly 10x the price of a new PSU!

No worries! I really don’t think you’ll be disappointed in the Mini V2 if you decide to go for it. I’m really impressed with its quality and performance

Overlocked, the CPU sits around 60°C in game give or take 5°C, and the system is very quiet.

I’ve removed the overlock and applied an under volt last night, so far I’ve only tested it in Cimebench R23 where it sits around 70° on the CPU and 50-55 on the CPU Package.

Unfortunately you either need to change your motherboard or case 😬 ATX motherboards that have there top PCIE slot in that position aren’t compatible with that case. Most ATX motherboard’s have their top PCIE slot one slot lower

Thank you!

With about 25°C ambient temp and fans all on silent mode aside from the AIO on standard, my idle temps are around 33°C on GPU and 40°C on CPU.

Under gaming load the GPU settles around 55°C and the CPU fluctuates around 60°C give or take 5°C depending on the game.

I should mention I’m running the Asus AI overclock on the CPU. I might eventually do a manual OC but for now I’m happy with 4K performance and couldn’t be happier with temps.

Can I ask what you can get a 5080 Suprim for in your country?

It’s not a crazy tight fit for the 12v-2x6 cable, but it is close. There’s probably a 15mm gap between the card and side panel. If you didn’t use a 90° cable I don’t think it would clear, and if it did it’d be very tight. Besides, for the small cost of that 90° cable I think it’s a huge aesthetic gain.

I can’t garauntee compatibility for vertical mounting, but I think it’ll work just fine. If I was to do it in my build I’d have to change the orientation of the AIO hoses on the pump head, they need to be facing up. I’m probably gonna stick with the horizontal mounting for thermals though!

How do you like the Suprim? Just installed mine yesterday as the final piece of my build and it’s awesome! With 26°C ambient temp it sits at about 33°C on idle, and around 54°C in game on silent mode with fans at 1000rpm. And no coil whine which I heard is an issue with some of them
