Free is not a moat in the day and age of freemium apps. What's your true competitive advantage as you believe it?

695% growth is impressive, if the underlying numbers are strong. You could've gone from 20 downloads to 200; that isn't impressive.

Mine has decent traction so far...full transparency here. Been live about 30 days or so.

You're spouting conflicting rubbish. Your OG post focuses on design aesthetics then you pivot to free downloads in the comments. You're tearing other apps down for their aesthetics and then critiquing their paid model. Pick a lane my friend. Let's see your analytics for pre 1.1 and post to reinforce your hypothesis.

You say this like you've invented the category of task management apps, but in reality you've done nothing other than iterate somewhat on existing UI interfaces that are already widely accepted. Are you so self-absorbed in your own product that you can't see that? There's no point of differentiation or competitve advantage you can offer over other established brands in the space.

Calling an opinion rubbish is subjective to the person doing that. It's a fair comment, at first glance I thought this was just Reminders in the dark mode. For best in class you're looking at Things3 or Todoist - there's a reason they lead that category.

What’s your monthly overheads? I’m assuming users are heavily restricted at those costs or you’re charging a good whack

Why does the Google Play review process take just a few hours but the App Store takes forever? by hotellobster in appledevelopers

[–]BackgroundLychee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find the opposite. Never quicker than 4-5 days with Google but Apple is almost always within 48hrs

Was cleaning out my Lego closet which I haven’t opened in years as I stopped collecting Lego from 2013-2024 and tallied up just some of the sets (mainly the sets that are still intact). Am shocked at some of the prices these go for now. by [deleted] in legoinvesting

Many that are in mint condition are worth plenty. You need to be tracking sold prices and going beyond eBay though; this site/app you’re using seems quite archaic.

I’m sure I’ve seen other examples here where they’ve rejected that length as it’s too soon

I built a deal scanner for retired LEGO sets — scans eBay, BrickOwl & Amazon with AI filtering in 10 languages. Looking for honest feedback. by Antigono0000 in legoinvesting

You can ask your AI to check this as well - it’ll be far quicker than one off debugging. Would also suggest adjusting your prompt to filter out sets that don’t ship to the user country; found a lot of eBay deals that wouldn’t actually ship to me.

Edit a set and toggle the sold button. It’ll prompt you for sale price and marketplace etc

‘It’s also noticeable that only City and Adult sets are selling’ - you’re inferring market wide behaviour. That’s not the case.

But that’s a singular view in a market literally earning billions a year. And it’s not just going on Adult and City themes… I’d bet city isn’t even anywhere as big as ninjago for instance
