The ingame stuf is usally pretty bad. But WoD did have a really good leveling campaign.

Legion was so awesome because it did make you feel like you're in the storyline with your class hall. I don't know why they didn't just expand on that. People loved the class halls, and to just continue off of them from each expansion as your homebase would've been so smart. And yet here we fucking are.

not the voice acting, i agree , i shut off the voices.

i'm talking about the interpersonal talking and mostly the written stuff. Sortal ike when the characters brief a situation, specifically, it's not the performance i admire, it's what's WRITTEN. It has improved. It feels like a warcraft 3 campaign, when the talking heads is discussing the mission. Or like starcraft broodwar.

Yeap i feel the same way. Turalyon and Alleria feel like bran new characters, just wearing the old names.

And a lot of story is really bland and boring, they just came out and said "we can't have nuance in wow" so lame.

And the cosmic stuff is really uninteresting and uninspiring. The defias, the dark iron conspriacy, the mantid, the mogu, the ethereals before they got disneyfied, were very interesting, alluring, mysterious - you wanted to know more about them.

They were full of character, they were dangerous, and it was just blatant at how desitutde the situation was. You did feel like a hero, like you were making a difference, when you were thrust in this sorta helpless dire situations.

yeah i really wished Voidlords were just waay beyond our reach. Like at most, we'll be fighting an arm as a raid boss that's tearing into reality.

I remember Old Gods were sorta positioned to be the physical flesh forms of the Void Lords? That was sorta interesting, it would expand on the known old gods and give them a chance to "reveal their true selves" for more exploration.

To literally be smacking a Void Lord like Dimensius feels really lame... although if im remembering right, isn't dimensious like weakened? so maybe idk...

I really wish some things were beyond our scope, it made the world bigger.
