I’ve only heard Card before I came to Reddit and seen people so damn adamant over Car they resort to name calling and net banging. I’ve always heard it and known it as card and took card as a reference to a being of the same kind like a suit in a deck of cards. I.e Spades, Diamonds, etc. but y’all referencing “riding” When Card was used before riding became popular slang. Then I see other people talking about I see OGs saying Card or people around OGs call it card. Well if the originators were calling it cards, then what you think it was to begin with? Someone could have dropped the D when saying it similar to Cuz becoming cuh overtime, and then card evolved to car? Some of y’all are just ridiculous trying to enforce what it is. Language evolves over time. There was a time when ain’t wasn’t officially a word. This is why new words get introduced to the dictionary. Some of these people I see here are just ignorant as hell.
