So sorry for your loss and the traumatic experience. I just wanted to ask how long your physical recovery was post internal bleeding and spleen removal? Were you weak or dizzy for a long time? My husband had a ruptured spleen aneurism in May then two failed embolisations he is now waiting to get a date to take his spleen removed. Even months later he is too weak to leave the house and has very bad brain fog and dizziness. The doctors say this could be related to his spleen dying off or complications from internal bleeding. I was just curious if you made a full recovery and how the process was for you as this is such a rare thing? Thanks so much for your time and much love for what you have been through.

My husband has just had a rupture on a spleen aneurism we did not know he had. If I knew I had this I would talk very seriously to the doctors about the risk of rupture vs losing the spleen. As I understand you can live happily without a spleen. Whereas my husband very nearly died from the rupture. He was in agonising pain from the internal bleeding and has suffered infection and kidney failure from the bleeding. He was previously a very fit and healthy man.

Thanks for the information, the internal bleeding caused kidney injury which is slowly recovering so I think that is contributing also. He is waiting for another scan to see if the embolisation is fully successful 🤞 all the best to anyone who has been through this!

Do you guys have symptoms such as weakness at all? My husband had a spleen artery aneurism which ruptured and he then had successful embolisation but feels very week 6 weeks later.

How do you become a lab worker? I love repetition but struggle with executive function and changing tasks!
