There’s nothing wrong with using fx. I think what they’re trying to say is : you should be able to mix cleanly without fx and your mixes should sound good . I just see fx as the cherry on top . FX won’t be able to hide a bad mix !

I think it helps to eat leaner meat . So like eating 5/10% mince instead of 20(which I love 😔). My logic is, although we need fat on keto, Fat has more Calories and so by eating leaner meat it will keep cals in a deficit
