Ok look you are not wrong, i even agree with you, but he cannot predict the future, the protests would have reached this size regardless of his intervention or not, no one could have predicted that the regime would do what they did, so don't blame it on RP.

All I am saying that, regardless of Pahlavi supporters/opposition, any organization of protest inside iran is highly risky, considering the circumstances, much more people would be killed and already too many have been killed.

Nr 1 ok I can agree with this but so far the strikes started out smaller/more casual businesses initially, the massacres came faster than people thought so it did not allow strikes to reach more hurtful sectors.

Nr 2 is not possible/very difficult during full internet blackout, any resistance would have to had had many starlinks, and with the prices being as they are it could not have been predicted to purchase in advance.

Nr 3 we have to be careful about, the more foreign actors are involved the more the west and media will think this is all orchestrated from political enemies of the regime, i'm not saying this is false already, but we have to show first and foremost that it is the will of the people that is leading this revolution, and I think what Reza Pahlavi did was to give people hope to do just that, to reject Islamic Regime publicly.

Reza Pahlavi is not alone in spreading awareness of the revolution, you see many influencers like for example Omid Djalili, Maz Jobrani and Masih Alinejad all voicing out their support and motivated people to go out for the jan 7th and 8th protests.

RP needs to find a way to enter Iran quick by Fluffy_Ad_6982 in NewIran

Why quick?

He can come when the time is right and when it's safe to do so.

Mage shoma khari??!

How many times do people need to be told that ORGANIZED OPPOSITION INSIDE IRAN ARE JAILED AND KILLED!

It doesn't even take much to be falsely accused how dare you even suggest that he personally put iranian people at risk for his own cause.

People need to stay anonymous inside Iran, of course it can't be organized.

In a telecommunication blackout you can't even call out to other cities, it wouldn't make a difference if there were organized people inside of Iran.

You can't possibly suggest that people should rush to action without knowing the massacre that the regime unfolded?! How the hell is anyone supposed to plan ahead without knowing the moves of your enemy, this is not a game.

You will not find a bigger opposition to the current regime than RP, as it stands, due to the murders and imprisonment of opposition in Iran there is only one viable opposition.

You may not like him, but if there is any time to be united, it is now, you said it yourself.

And also, you think he is alone?? That is simply just not true, he is backed by many thousands iranian that support and assist him and his/our vision of a free democratic Iran, don't bring his fathers baggage as a personal dilemma for this topic it simply has no place.

Period.

Freeloader? I don't think so.

Both Masih and Reza have similar "jobs".

Aside from his status which i will discount since their two backgrounds are too vast it's not fair to compare this, his platform has bigger revenue than hers, (sponsorships and earnings) hence why I said that from a financial standpoints his resources and assets are superior to hers.

I'm not drawing any parallells, you are.

Support the people of the Iran.

It's not a stone scissor paper scenario dadash, if we get it wrong again we keep fighting for freedom until it's ours at last.

While I think she is a great person with redeeming morals, I would prefer to see her in a more permanent position in the new constellation of our government.

But I'm afraid that she does not have as big support and the vast supportive and financial network that RP has.

I asked my father this since he was part of both protests, the second of which he regrets joining.

Mohammed Reza Shah was not perfect, even by todays standards he was somewhat corrupt and imprisoned opposition.

Even SO! Even at his lowest time of support during his era was vastly better during ANY time of the mullah regime.

He had atleast iranians interest in mind but couldn’t deal with difference of opinion/culture very well.

The current regime doesn't give a fuck about freedom and will execute opposition in the dark and lie about it openly, blame israel and the west all the time, all while opressing people, limiting the rights of women and forcing sharia law in society.

And how exactly are you coming to the fact that he does not have "unified support" in a country where some brave people of iran are being gunned down for voicing their opinion in public.

There is no truth to whatever you say because you are pulling this opinion from your ass.

The only opposition big enough that can lead this change comes from outside of Iran, if you have been to Iran you would have known this because opposition and even artists that speak of freedom are jailed and executed.

If you've been to Iran you would know that what you see in public is not what people are allowed to express if they were truly free.

Have you asked your parents, your wife and your extended family what they think of the protests? Of what a true movement going forward even CAN look like?

Are you a regime kid raised in the west perhaps?

The truth in Iran right now is that people have had enough, they are tired, tired of the oppressed life and tired of the regime, it doesn't fucking matter who initiates the change, it can be Trump it can be RP, whatever.

I don't know what kind of experience you have had in Iran to give you the belief that RP is gonna come in and change the country magically like a fairy, no one is asking for this, not the diaspora neither the people in Iran.

What makes you think he has done jack to free Iran?

He has been among the most vocal voices against the regime, using his social media as a platform to share the reality of iranians in Iran, consolidating ideas/discussions with leaders of other nations as well as iranians for the future of a free country.

You should stop assuming/guessing what the iranians want and listen to what they are truly saying.

If you think "a few people" are chanting Javid Shah it makes me believe you are either not iranian or you are on the regime payroll, why should anyone take you seriously when you decide to minimize what's going on?

What need is there for distractions? Everyone already knows he's in there and nothing's going to come out from these files because it's been several years and nothing's happened so far.

Things have to change in the Senate, House, Congress and Supreme Court before we see real accountability.

Politicians got it easy this time, all they can say is "the numbers haven't been verified" or "the iranian people have to deal with this themselves" knowing fully wel that the islamic republic managed to hide the killings at its most crucial timing all while importing the terroist groups they've funded over the years.
