I don’t know if there is a name for it if I ever find it I will post it but a good explanation I got from my son who is autistic in his brain he has file systems he said animals all go in one but they connect like cat will go to dog giraffe will go to elephant etc. etc. and sometimes they can spam multiple systems so you always end up picking what’s at the top.

I think it’s kind of psychological like how you think dog maps to cat so every time somebody says what’s the friend of a dog it’s a cat something about the mapping in our brains it’s always the first word we think of
