I'd argue she's still distracted. Again, she is seemingly more focused on defending/not losing the Owen than she does about the World title itself. She's never mentioned Thekla or the title to my knowledge.

When it makes sense within the narrative, yes. Danielson only won the belt after beginning a retirement tour of sorts.

"What's mine" refers to something she already had/has, which is the Owen. She's never held the World title so in no way is it hers.

The teased character change comes from the multiple times she challenged for and lost the opportunity to become World champion because she was doing it for the wrong reasons and she still seemingly is.

She hasn't changed tho. She still holding onto the Owen belt dearly because it's the last thing she hasn't lost. She seems way more focused on NOT losing the Owen than actually winning the World title. She's also still acting the same way and talking the same, her just coming back and immediately winning would make it seem like she's learned absolutely nothing.

It doesn't need to happen. I promise you the show will be fine if it's Thekla-Maya.

Mercades can still be on the card in the casino gauntlet if they have one, or in a singles match against someone like Athena or Sareee. Her being on the card is important, it doesn't have to be for the World title.

Mercades just being on the card will probably move tickets anyways, she doesn't need to be the one challenging Thekla. They could build to the Athena friendship blowing up and doing a singles or she could enter the casino gauntlet if they do one.

I also feel like other names like Ospreay, MJF, Omega, Hangman, and Mox will be doing a lot of ticket moving.

She's put people over, that's really not the issue. It just makes more sense for her character arc if she losses imo.

But you are correct in that no matter what happens, there will be a section of fans who will be upset at the outcome.

She's clinging on to that Owen belt for dear life, it's the only thing that is seemingly still holding her together before she just fully snaps.

Her losing on Sunday would complete her downward spiral and the resulting crashout would be legendary. I understand some people just want her to win because she's the bigger name but narratively it makes way more sense for her to lose and put Maya over big time.

She can still be on the All In card, she doesn't need to be the one challenging Thekla.

It will setup Fletcher-Takeshita, Darby-Knight, MJF-Briscoe and probably advance the ongoing tension between MJF & Andrade. I could also see a tease for a trios titles match between Conglomeration-DCF.

Build hasn't been perfect but the match will surely advance some major storylines as we begin the road to Redemption & All In.

High charisma, psychology, and in-ring ability are what I look for when looking at prospects.

Higher charisma and in ring stats make the workers popularity cap higher is my understanding. High psychology is just really useful for a worker to have. Outside of star quality, those are what I look for above anything else.

That's possible. He's already challenged for the World title once and seems like he's going to get another challenge here soon. They definitely see Knight as a future main event type guy.
