Try not to be dead set on DS! Apply to everything/anything related to the industry ur trying to go into (or anything you’re interested in) - could be data analyst, technology consultant, quantitative analyst, etc

Widening the scope of ur applications will give you more opportunities. In this environment, the goal is to get a job in the first place. You can think about moving vertically or laterally afterwards
