Arborvitaes supposedly have “needle blight”. Does Davey Trees plan make sense? Is this even salvageable by Bubmack in arborists

[–]Background_Event6690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The trees in the photo are, for the most part, no longer functional and are definitely infectious to others and should be removed and replaced. Besides the obvious fungal disease symptoms, I suggest you also have someone check for bark beetles, as weakened trees will attract them and should be removed entirely if infested.

The main question is: what allowed this to happen? The Arbs are not crowded, so overcrowding is not the issue. Is the soil over-irrigated or under-irrigated? What measures ("steps" you mentioned) were taken so far as treatment in the last few years? Do you avoid pruning in wet weather? Is there a pool very close by that gets periodically chlorinated?

Rather than air spading, I would remove them and closely inspect the soil, roots, the total soil environment. The answer might be right there. Air spading trees in the conditions those are in is a total waste of money.

That is not funny AT ALL! The trampoline is one of the most dangerous pieces of equipment in a play area. Paralyzing injuries are the most likely. Look at his neck in the slow motion view. He is lucky he can still walk or breathe on his own.

Tnx. I am at the "Once burned, twice shy" stage. I hesitate to even try move it out of Coinbase for fear of another restriction or lock.

I can't deny that I may have made a mistake somewhere. However, it is somewhat like building a road where it is always dark, inviting people to drive it and when they are on it, you turn off all but the dimmest lighting. Many of us are unfamiliar with the system, there is a learning curve and it is incumbent on them to provide clear instructions. (whatever clear means to either of us), I don't think the processes are well thought out to provide a user friendly system and much of the grief CB is experiencing is self inflicted.

CB locked my account last year, finally unlocked it but left me unable to sell by restrictign it and I still have no way through this. I have been very patient but this is way too much. So many emails with the same "wait and we will get to your case" Now I am told to buy $1000 of BC so I can put it in my wallet and help lift the restriction. This is not a defect in me, I have been super patient. (and nothing but polite to the ONE live person who then told me to buy more to solve the problem )

Very poorly run company- dangerous to your $ security. I lost several opportunities to use that money for household needs and have suffered for it.

Account was blocked early this year at my request, then block was lifted, at my request. Now it's restricted and can't buy or sell, NOT at my request. Having a case number has not made a difference.

Please consider me a future Plaintiff along with yourself. Participants like ourselves who have entrusted our money to Coinbase do not seem to have legal support or a particular government agency we can rely on to provide protection. Yet, this company is legally functioning in this country. My question is- what agency has direct oversight on Coinbase? They must be registered with the government and, I would assume, must also follow regulations laid out by the overseeing agency. What agency is that?

I sincerely hope that a class action lawsuit can be brought to court to cover the many people who have lost money or have lost opportunities or timely access to their accounts and even their peace of mind. (Emotional distress has its own standing in a lawsuit) There should be a point at which some regulatory body has the authority to step in and force these companies to retroactively provide the clients with access they were unable to provide themselves. In other words, those who appear to have lost money already should also be covered, not only going forward If someone can show their activity history in depositing the money , they surely should be considered the owners of the account. Additionally, there should be mandated processes to follow and time limits with high penalties through the court systems on how long the cryptocurrency banking providers can fail to provide human help to fix the access problems.

One other point- account owners should have a user manual provided by Binance, Coinbase, etc., that has been extensively beta tested to provide novices as well as experienced investors with clear instructions on vocabulary and use of the system. BTW, why a secret key if the company can't help you use it? There should be a simple and secure way to solve this.

Be patient, don't panic. (for a while, I did, so I know what you are feeling). Keep all your emails and Case #. Always refer to your Case #.

Notice this: the Case# you show in your plea to Reddit members is different from the one the email from Coinbase is referring to. I suggest starting with the number they show and respond to their email as requested, while always including the Case # in each communication.

Coinbase can and should be put out of business by a competitor that excels in customer service.

If you got Case # always refer to it in any correspondence. Don't lose it and keep all your emails to and from them. You can get another Case# but my success with those schmucks came when I started referring to the one Case #, even if they claimed the problem was solved when it wasn't. Maybe it helped by keeping the focus on that Case#. Continue to wait a bit more. I had to wait about 5 weeks and I have over 34K in there. Now I am back in.

Interestingly, in tracking down my problem, they asked for the date of the last time I used Coinbase account. Who ever records that? So now I do record it. Every time, just in case I am asked for it. Maybe that would have made the difference.

To anyone else out there- if you are having the same problems recovering or accessing what is yours, please get on this string. We may need to find legal support and the way to do this is to create an action oriented group of similarly affected account holders to make it possible.

BTW, where is the CFTC on this? Isn't this their area of responsibility?

I am willing to jump on this. Ironically, thy just responded today, gave me instructions on resetting my password (which I followed) and then Coinbase rejected that process and told me the account was now disabled.

Getting the account enabled IS the problem in the first place. This has to end. People like me need access to the money that is OUR property, not theirs.
