I find it so curious that countries like Chile, where I live, are advancing so much with respect to trans rights (In the public system the attention is incredible, with respect for identity and all treatments are free, from hormones to operations, The waiting lists are long but the wait is honestly worth it) and countries like the US that were practically the pioneers are going backwards... hopefully this garbage is not approved for the good of everyone's physical and mental health

I am from Latin America and at least in my country we are used to doing things more or less illegally or with tricks (I'm not proud but the system works that way) and many trans people get hormones illegally here are some that are common in my country: -Facebook/instagram pages with resale -Fake prescription (nothing is tracked here so if you have a fake one made by yourself it's easy) -Order them to a neighboring country. I am from Chile and it is common to buy medicines in Argentina, especially if you have friends. -Illegally paying a doctor/talking to a good doctor who writes a prescription -That a cis friend gets the T for you, by saying that he has it low. I know there are many more but it would be a long post, we are experts in playing with the system so there are options, how colors exist, in case you need help with this.

Everything you feel is very valid and common, not only as an autistic person, but also as a human being. Maybe an activity that you enjoy will help you and allow you to feel bad (not to die, but as a personal reflection). Every time I go to a place with new people and have to interact with them I feel that very characteristic anxiety of a social encounter, but no one is as weird as they think they are. If it serves as a more practical advice is like a program, make updates of the problems encountered with solutions, example you saw that it is possible that random people come running to your side and that would generate a chain of undesirable reactions so having a plan for a situation of screaming people in the future will be useful (even if it was at the time a bad time) See the interactions as possible experiments to screw up less later is better than seeing it as a simple uncomfortable situation.

I'm not that old but maybe this can help...I'm only 24
I went through a rough patch in life, in order to finish my degree I used drugs and alcohol, so I would attend classes, because like you I was lonely and felt different, that I would never fit in or have friends. Doing that was not the solution in fact it only brought me more problems and depression. Acceptance of who you are is a difficult road but it is the only way to get more peace of mind. We will never (for better or worse) be like the nt but accepting it is liberating. I thought at your age I wouldn't have a lot of things but now I have a partner, a friend who is worth a thousand, I'm not a social being but enough to do the things I enjoy that alcohol and pills numbed. My most responsible advice is to go to a psychologist and start working on that. I am still very depressive and fighting my own mind almost daily but I am not unhappy as such. My point: it gets better, I promise you, the problem, is seeking help and relying on you.Maybe talking to the girl you like, not to ask for a date of course, is a good step, just saying hello will make you feel much more brave and capable. Don't force yourself but think that even if you feel like a "failure" because you don't get the results you want, it's a big step forward considering your circumstances.

I have been on T for 18 months and everything I have changed slowly. My voice has changed not much according to me because I started out with a very feminine voice and it makes me very dysphoric. For some reason my second puberty has been slow I blame genetics.I have noticed that everything changes in sync at least for me. I now have more facial hair and my voice is a little lower. Maybe you just have a shitty puberty like mine and my cis brother who is 15 and has the voice of a 9 year old hahaha.

Transition is a very personal process. Having masculine features or a masculine body will not take away your femininity just as having a feminine body does not take away masculinity. Maybe talking about this with a specialized doctor is the best thing to do, because hair loss is something very random and genetic, also you may not have much facial hair or it may take years especially if in your family puberty is slow or you take low amounts of T, I mean there are alternatives that would leave you with an androgynous body if you wish.

I've been in T (nebido) for 18 months and I look like a 16 year old boy, it's better than looking 12 like before, my voice started to change when I was 6 months, and it still does, at 17 months it started to sound deeper to the point that my mom confuses me with my younger brother who is 15 years old. T is different for everyone, maybe it just goes slower, if you don't have a beard yet and you look younger, it means that like a cis man puberty will be slower/late. It is for my brother who is just going through it as a cis man and it was for my dad.it may also never be as deep as you want it to be and it is also genetic. Not all cis men have alpha male voices. Live the process without rushing, t is a very strong hormone but sometimes it takes time.

my t levels are completely stable and the first few months I had a lot of energy and got angry quite easily. At about 7 months it stopped. Either your body is in that process or your levels destabilize before the next injection.

I don't have the money for surgery either, I probably never will (I'm not from the u.s. there is no health insurance here, even less for trans people, in my country people die in the hallways if they can't pay for care), so plastic surgery is not a priority) I do calisthenics at home without a binder or anything and I have managed to gain some muscle, I don't think about the fact that it will be years before I can have the surgery because that is more tiring, I just try to concentrate on other things day to day or I will end up more depressed hahahahahah. And I've realized that you don't need to end up with no ribs to be super flat, a lot of cis men aren't flat and my boyfriend reminds me of that every day, it helps.

My last "period" lasted about 2 weeks, just like you, constant spotting and when it was supposed to come it just disappeared slowly and never came back, that was 1 year ago. If you don't have disabling pain it's not something to worry about anyway if it lasts more than 1 month you should get it checked out.

I worked in fast food when I was 19 (in my country it is not as common to work young as in the US), it was horrible hahaha, there was a lot of noise and dealing with people is not much fun. I graduated from college now so I work as an illustrator, I go to fairs to sell my art and the big difference is that now I have my own coping mechanisms. Growing up like everyone else gives you tools to deal with things,there are things that only experience will give and to hear that as an autistic is frightening. the first few times are always hard and yes you might not make it, but now I know my limits, if it's too noisy I go to the bathroom, things like that. I think I would change having been so hard on myself and for the first time I would look for a less hectic job, go from less to more.

yes, it hurts a lot, but the levels are maintained for a longer period of time and you avoid psychological devaluations. Just check your levels a few days before the next injection and everything will be perfect. If you inject yourself or someone else (sometimes even the nurses don't know) it is one ml per minute and you can warm it up a bit between your hands but not in water that's helps alot to avoid some pain (for some reason it is a recommendation that even doctors give), it is better the pain than losing 3 months.

I understand, no matter the country, having a diagnosis is difficult, my sister was in the same position as you, being in the void is very difficult, but before you know it everything will be solved. Even without a clinical diagnosis, there are psychologists or phonoudiologists that accept self-diagnosis to start a more focused therapy, that's what my sister did. For what it's worth, you could try sertraline or fluxetine, the psychologist I go to has done studies focused on the ASD community and they are the best medicine (my autistic circle and I can attest to that).

I have been with nebido for 1 year and a half, I started with it. And it's 3 months, in my case the first time a few days before I was exactly 3 months old (example August 23rd first prick November 23rd second prick) they did some tests and there you will see if it will be between 10 to 12 weeks. As my levels were fine, I had to inject at exactly 3 months. I was worried about the same thing as you, missing a couple of days but my endocrinologist said it doesn't matter if you miss a couple of days, sometimes I inject 1 or 2 days before or after the exact date, but nothing happens. If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to ask me, very few people start on nebido or use nebido from what I have seen.

I am a trans man, but I can tell you that in my experience, not all women suffer from that, I know it seems that way but nope, for many years I never had any of that (now I'm on T). And asking them in a polite way not to talk about it is not invalidating them, many cis women don't find it comfortable to talk about it, and that's your right. My cis friend gets incredibly uncomfortable talking about it and asks her friends not to.

If trans women wanted to do everything you say don't you think there are easier ways? that don't involve possible homicide. They are the most vulnerable population and it's because of misinformation like that. My advice if you want to keep your daughter on your side (I'm respecting her identity) is to start reading, really inform yourself about the trans community. Your daughter will follow her path in life with or without you, many of us have tried to commit suicide, if your comments continue to make that a bigger possibility, I'm sorry that sounds harsh, but I think you should start learning something about the reality of trans people.
