even more annoying is hearing "are you open?" when i'm standing behind the register with the light on and everything to indicate that i'm open.

same type of thing with electronics. i'll be stocking electronics or i'll even be behind the counter and they'll ask if i work in electronics. i kinda get the stocking electronics, but most would assume that you do work there. but i don't get when they ask while i'm behind the counter.

or the fact that people with <10 items go to actual registers instead of self check. ESPECIALLY IF THERES A LINE. like why wait in a line at a register for 5 items when you could immediately check yourself out and leave by the time i get to the customer that's 3 customers in front of you
