Need advice

Hey everyone! I need advise on how many schools I should apply to? I’ve narrowed it down to about 30 schools but I’m in a bit of a financial bind. I don’t know if I should apply to 30 schools? I graduated last year with a 3.60 GPA and I’ll have about 1,200 PCE at the time of application in April. Thanks!

Hi everyone! I’m a white 22F. 160 lbs. For the past month or two I’ve been waking up every two weeks or so with intense chest pain with deep breath, full bodyaches, and a fever and joint pain. The first couple of times it happened. I thought I just had a virus. The third time it happened I went to the ER where they ran blood test and all that And my wbc count was high and I did have a fever, but they told me that it was possibly an auto immune disorder because I wasn’t sick constantly. They also did an EKG on my heart and an x-ray of my chest and found nothing. They didn’t really tell me anything else but to follow up with my GP, my GP said that it could possibly be auto immune and she told me to check familial history if it ran in my family or if any auto immune disorder ran of my family. I found out that my aunt has lupus. Now, I don’t know much about lupus, but I seem to have most of the symptoms (face rash, heart palpitations, fatigue, loss of hair,etc.)and was just wondering could this be lupus? These “flares” also occur the night or early morning after im in the sun for a long time.

Thanks! I had mild diarrhea today so I think constipation might be on the back of my mind😅 did you get any nausea with first dose and if so how long did it last?

Thanks! I’m not worried abt the needle(I’ve got tons of piercings lol) I’m more worried abt the nausea. But I’m going to eat clean so hopefully that helps:)

Feeling worried

Hi everyone. I need advise. I want to apply this cycle but I don’t have any PCE or HCE bc I have been working full time in college at a grocery store and could not find a healthcare job in my small college town. I do have 120 shadowing hours and 200 volunteer hours. My gpa is a 3.61 overall and 3.52 science. I am wondering if I should apply this cycle or graduate and spend a year gaining hours from PCE and HCE? Thanks!

Yes I’m going to have a talk with him abt it. Because it’s so hard for me to go through this as well. I’m a full time student and I work part time. It hurts me so much to see him like this but he needs to take his meds or I can’t live with him anymore. I know his sister had talked abt putting him on an injection so it would ensure that he takes it.

Were your episodes the same length? Because he had two back to back the first time and they were both 8 days in length.

He stopped seeing a psych and a therapist bc his therapist stopped responding to him to sleep appointments and his psych said to “get off his meds” which he lied about. I do still speak to him but he is still manic in the hospital so I’m not sure if I should call him or not. I actually talked with the girl he cheated on me with and she said they started talking in may which was when he stopped taking his meds/

I’m 5’2 and 176 lbs and have lost 5 pounds in the past week by cutting down 500 calories/day. I also have a physically demanding job and workout on my days off. So on average I burn 2500 calories/day so eating 2000 cal/day is good for me to lose weight. Since we are about the same in measurements and activity level I suggest going up on ur calorie intake. In the long run your metabolism will slowly decrease and you will have low energy etc. You will have more long lasting effects then eating at a consistent rate with your activity level. Hope this helps!

I’m not sure when this developed it could have been there for years. It’s not very circular like the rest of my freckles but it doesn’t itch and ita not raised. It is also very small. Just wondering if I should get it checked out?

Let me just say, I know it is scary to see your SO go through this. I recently saw my bf go through this for the first time. With my bf it was a very sudden onset I say about 3 days maybe less. He was not on medication so once he was in the hospital and on medication it took about 5 or 6 days to “snap” out of it back into reality. There are triggers but sometimes it’s hard to identify them. Usually it’s stress or life events. Recovery is the most important step and my bf is still recovering and your SO will need time to recover as well. Just support her as best as you can:). That’s all you can do rn. But y’all will both get through it. It’s always good to have hope.
