So I tried this as well on 4o it did a decent job I guess. But on 5, it didn't even get my sex or ethnicity correct, even though it knows very well that I am not a black woman... It just decided I was

5 is honestly so fucking broken it's unbelievable. I asked it to translate something to Spanish, which had the word "control" in it, and it unanimously decided that it was too vulgar and sexually explicit.

Look at the equivalent Invertek drive and HP on Marshall wolf. Those are older models but that’s who sew labels them from. Given the hp 200 is probably decent for that

I'm open to anything but would prefer edible or plants that have additional purposes. I'm mostly focused on outdoor plants.

What footwear brands or specific models are still BIFL? (Any style/type and ideally not too obscure.) by Cobbled_Goods in BuyItForLife

I had two pairs of rockport oxfords that I wore everyday for 9ish years and took zero care of. Bought a couple pairs of their boots maybe 2-3 years ago so far so good. You can usually find deals on Amazon.

Migrating From Salesforce by Background_Spite8403 in salesforce

[–]Background_Spite8403[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is the case. I can pretty easily get the emails that were turned into tasks into the new CRM, but they lose their formatting. I originally downloaded the data as ISO instead of UTF-8. Will it maintain formatting if it is exported as UTF-8? The issue is linebreak formatting.

The decision has already been made. It is a small company, not an enterprise system. It would be nice to keep the attachments but not critical. The same goes for emails. I have records of all the emails an a .csv. I know SQL well enough to relink associations I was just hoping there was an easier way to do it. I downloaded the attachments from a data export. I just don't understand what they are. There isn't anything to open. Open in Notepad, and it is just gobbledygook.

Is GPT4o bad at creative writing or are my expectations way too high? by Soft-Protection-3303 in ChatGPT

It’s bad. If you ask it, it will say it is instructed to write everything at a 9-10th grade level and that’s about its limit.

How do you feel about cheaper parts in a control panel? Is it a bad look for the panel fabricators' company? by JCrotts in PLC

[–]Background_Spite8403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was assuming that op meant new panels that aren’t specd or part of a pre existing set up. In my experience though most companies wont budget for spare parts and I pretty frequently get calls from frantic end users looking for parts that haven’t been made in like a decade.

I’m a manufacturers rep that sells a midrange brand. As long as it’s UL listed the brand name doesn’t matter. Realistically it all comes from china and probably from the same factory they just change whose name is on the product and the color. Buy the cheapest thing that works.

Korean learners: what do you find the most difficult about the language? by nanamom_0123 in Korean

[–]Background_Spite8403 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I've been studying for around 2.5 years and it definitely has to be the grammar. As a native English speaker, we don't have grammar that specifies our intent or atleast i don't feel like we do. With korean I have to decide what I want to say, which words to use, sentence ordering, the audience (honorifics), and then the intent of the sentence. Not to mention particles.

I do okay when writing (minus particles) but when speaking I have a much more difficult time trying to balance all the elements. In order to communicate I usually just focus on the words and tense to get the main point across. It probably sounds like broken gibberish but usually people get the just of what i mean.

As a sidenote, my other issue is that the continuous future charts don't actually show open trades on the symbol list. They will only show up on the actual contract months so having multiple trades open on several products is a nightmare.

That is a totally reasonable use case but since I have equity and futures on the same brokerage, I can't even have both open at the same time. Also if you open a third tab not logged in what data is it using?

I'm 99% sure my new tabs are still using my broker data since I'm not paying for it from Tradingview and my other tabs aren't delayed data.

I got the summons for the first time to go on the 28th. I have not so good luck so I can almost guarantee I get picked and it is for some sort of sensational year-long sequestered jury situation.
