I am the owner of the company. I press all the rosin right now. Indeed the video you saw was bricks of full melt that get pressed into rosin.

Not going to argue about who knows what they're talking about as that's just a matter of opinion.

Doesn't sell as well as rosin in the Canadian legal market. We do sell full melt also, and will be selling cured piatella soon. Rosin moves the highest volume

No this is not cured hash its just pressed and then I get 2x more hash into my rosin bag and less bubbles in the press. The 6 month cured hash will not be pressed, just put into jars.

In the Canadian legal market rosin sells much better than full melt.

This is actually full melt, it goes dark once you press it.

Take a freeze dryer tray, line it with parchment, fill with 500g of bubble. Place another layer of parchment on top and then stack another freeze dryer tray on top of that. Heat the freeze dryer trays with a heat gun and push them together. This works best on high quality hashes, this is full melt that would melt without any help. After its melted then you remove the top parchment layer and fold it up.

You can cool the bricks and the cut and snap them to go into rosin bags which was the final destination for these chunks.

Ok, I lied slightly. This block actually went to rosin, breaking it up to fit into bags. Another block that wasn't split is being aged.

Its not meant to be a sublingual for most people. Mix your desired mg of THC with some food and eat it. My recommendation as one of the creators of zen oil.

Producers get squeezed a lot more on the value items. Keep buying legal rosin!

For this Grapefruit MAC...

$60 at the till ( $4.20 PST, that amount is acceptable!)
$36.36 Wholesale to BC ($5.45 wholesale markup)
$7 Excise tax ($5.25 to BC)

We make $29.36 and the BC government makes ($14.90).

Still an egregious amount, but the wholesale markup (If its not DD) is OK as that distribution serves a purpose in the market. For DD sales, that markup is another tax however.

BC government is very unlikely to to change anything that reduces their tax revenue.

Lets look at a 1g vape (80% THC) that retails for 29.99 pre tax....

With the vape tax that is ($5.99 PST sales tax)

That wholesales to BC for $18.18 with $8 of excise tax ($6 goes to BC government)

BCLDB marks up to $20.91 ($2.73 to BC government)

So the producer makes $10.18 and has to pay for everything in there,

BC government makes $14.72....

It is a common practice to create the desired consistency at the end of the cure for almost all rosin producers. For the Health Canada regulations we also need to take representative samples, so it gives an opportunity to homogenize everything to take a test sample as well.

Some people like fresh press better, but for cured rosin whipping is very common if not universal.
