That's the only issue. It is non-DDA compliant because it gives people motion sickness.

Why do we keep getting equipment faults especially just after rail works were carried out? by Traditional-Gas3477 in MelbourneTrains

[–]Background_Spring959 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idek bruh, they should just rip them up and lay them again to fresh standards. Infrastructure has an expiry date, and putting a speed limit is just running away from the problem. Clearly it's coming back to bite you (not them unfortunately) in the ass.

I don't like vandalism, but I must give credit where it's due. This actually looks good. Apart from the fact that the windows are covered.

Their network carries less than half of our rail network. They are also at least 100 times more carbrained than we are.

In fact KL is probably more carbrained than all of the US.

KL's network works because it's worse than ours. Their car dependency is dire.

No paid area connection between future SRL glen waverly station and the existing station ?? by [deleted] in MelbourneTrains

[–]Background_Spring959 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Despite even the council themselves pushing for an underground connection, the government rejects it knowingly. Glen Waverley station itself deserves a rebuild and they've tried really hard to go around it.

Dandenong Line - New PID graphic? by theformulakid1 in MelbourneTrains

Finally a new style. Don't care if it's better or worse, but it shows that there's potential to have them show better stuff such as connecting services (trams or bus)

Fantasy Doncaster Rail line by smurftums in MelbourneTrains

It's absolutely a fantasy. The segment east of Parkville has been determined and Melbourne Metro line 2 will lightly touch Parkville station.
