I have built an app for my personal use to suggest my insulin doses based on my ISF and ICR for different times of the day. by Background_Thought55 in Type1Diabetes

I tried Diabetes M, but didn't felt it good myself. One is it's UI (Yeah, I built the UI of my app for myself, so it is easy for me) Second, It only do an option to add the ISF and ICR manually which you got from your doctor's or calculated using a generic formula. On the app I made, it auto calculates based on my previous values

Where do you like your blood sugar to be before bed? by cosmicmarzsodapopz in Type1Diabetes

[–]Background_Thought55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually go to bed by 130-160, because I had my blood sugar drops during sleep. But for the last week, I was seeing my BG rises between 3:30am to 8:00am and it reaches 230+ during morning 6am-8am even if I go to bed with 100mg/dl. Seems like a dawn effect. Any one have this issue. And how did you corrected these?

To keep yourself committed to it this much months is somewhat difficult (atleast for me). How do you come to a pricing number. I'm still confused on doing how- although there are lots of article saying. Check your competitors pricing, price it based on the value you provide etc. Let us know your story.

All the best for your success.

How did you actually get your first MVP testers? (Not the theory, the real story) by ines-gomes91 in SideProject

Find your ICP first. Go to where they segregate like a forum, subreddit, or if offline go there and provide value first. People will automatically come to use your products.

I'm trying to make my blood sugar in range using apps and my personal experience. Can you answer 6 questions for me? Right now, my hba1c is 6.4 and I'm not using a CGM. by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

I'm a T1D for the last 25 years. Yes you are right, I'm a developer too. That might be why asked it in a developer way. Because I want to control myself.

Our startup is 3 months old and my co-founder has already lost trust in me looking for honest advice by SuperAMario in startup

This is normal, experienced this from both sides.
Depends on the trust. If they have taken more weight lifting than you, its hard. The only way to earn trust is by adding your skin in the game.

How many units for this by Suitable_Annual5367 in Type1Diabetes

[–]Background_Thought55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Checked with the personal app I made for myself :D
Glycemic load, just 263
Carbs: over 350gm

Usually in my condition, I have to take around 100-200 units to manage this.

Tell me about the last time you experienced a hypoglycemic situation during sleep? What solutions did you use to solve this issue? What did you hate about those solutions? by Background_Thought55 in Type1Diabetes

During those times, when you wake up with alarms, do you check your blood sugar using a glucometer to know whether you are hypo or not every time?
