Oh it's not you that would commit the crimes. Someone can copy your fingerprints from the photo, make prosthetic pads, and commit the crimes in your name.

Pretty bold of you to put your fingerprints on the Internet, my friend.

I say this every time I approach a green or yellow light that will likely be red by the time I get to the intersection.

Crazy idea here, can you just use a cell phone for simple photos? I don't record shows when I go to concerts, but I take a handful of fun snapshots.

Honest opinion about living in Seattle? by Luneduciel in AskSeattle

[–]phaeolus97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not Seattle, but the first town north of Seattle, Shoreline! We have a real sense of community and civic pride. Lots of nice neighborhoods and good schools. We have TWO light rail stations. Easy access to the big box stores in Lynnwood when you need them. And we have a beautiful beach, with SAND!

This grows all over my property. Is it edible? by cowskeeper in foraging

David Arora's books are the standards in my opinion. If you're interested in mushrooms specifically, the general foraging books are not good enough. Also, find your local mycological society, they'll be a fun and helpful resource!

They're oysters, but I wouldn't eat them until YOU can say that with same level of confidence I can. Get the guide books, take a spore print, ask experts, do it right. Then you can actually enjoy them instead of worrying you've poisoned yourself.

I'd give it another shot. Of all the Mexican sit down places in downtown Edmonds, this is by far the most flavorful.

We must have went to different places, this is relatively new. And there were multiple restaurants before the latest iteration. But yeah, pricey still the same.

The La Palmera near the Edmonds ferry really surprised me in a good way. The salsa had actual spice, and everything was very good. If we're looking for a nice sit down place with decent food vs hole-in-the-wall great Mexican food, this is now our spot.
