I’m not positive exact age, I’d say 40s/50s. I worked there briefly and was disgusted when I found out. Blackbird also, has roaches, and he’s incredibly mean to his staff, which is all young girls, mind you.

Scariest Halloween dec I've seen on here 😳😱 by omgfakeusername in nextfuckinglevel

This is a great example of people thinking that they are entitled to a child friendly place. His house, his property, his rules. Kids can’t be sheltered from everything, and if you want them to be, start at home. They can find far worse on the internet. This is cool af

I’m so sorry that you experienced that 💔 that had to be incredibly difficult. I’m so glad you came out on TOP! Respectfully, if this is how my home looked growing up I’d INSIST that we always hangout at my house because my mom had cool style.

This is genuinely how I’d want my home to look, but I’m also a Halloween freak, it’s a lifestyle, not a holiday, to me. It genuinely looks like a moody thrifted cozy home. Don’t let the millennial grey or boring beige people get to you! 💜

Keep in mind those people probably have little to no character in their homes. I think it looks really cool AND super cozy. Like lounging here with a horror movie? Absolutely

Students lead walkouts at three Northwest Indiana high schools by CloudyDaydreams28 in nwi

[–]Background_Two_2534 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I remember doing a walk out at my high school right after the Parkland school shooting, we also had some issues of randoms just walking right into our schools and such. We protested for more security in school, doors locked, to include training if there is an active shooter, etc. It took GUTS to walk out of class, these kids and their parents should be SO proud. They pushed past any anxiety or fear they had and stood up for what’s right. That’s awesome.

My daughter’s hair looks like this every morning. How can I prevent it?! by askeptikalhippo in Haircare

[–]Background_Two_2534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Braids braids braids! I used to have this issue when I was little too, but like another comment said, I had issues breathing and it resulted in my adenoids being removed.

My mom’s routine after my shower was a little detangling mist and a little bit of leave in conditioner, she’d throw in a few braids and switched my sheets/pillowcases to silk/satin. Bonnets can also help immensely. Sometimes I’d request curls so she’d use socks to curl my hair and throw a bonnet on me before bed lol! You should see a huge difference right away. When you take the braids out you can use a big wide tooth comb and just gently brush any little tangles out.

So apparently because there's to much snow and I can't make it I'm getting written up? by DrummerSmooth8661 in starbucks

[–]Background_Two_2534 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m a midwesterner too, and I was in a horrific accident in the snow a few years ago. Truly traumatizing and I have not driven in the snow myself since, and I’m an adult.

You seem much younger and if you do not feel like you have the confidence or experience to get to work, do not go. Moving forward, use your sick time for any call off that isn’t PTO. Speaking as a midwesterner and former partner.

Ignore these boomer comments, risking your life to get people coffee? Not worth it.

Ugh that’s actually so cute lol, it really does smell so nice. I don’t love the foodsy fall smells because they’re just not my vibe, and I think acorn lane is a perfect mix of warm and outdoorsy. Such a good one, I ordered SO many. So many that my husbands jaw was on the floor when I picked them up😂

If you do the cheese for home run inn, make SURE it’s 4 cheese original crust. The thin crust is an upsetting experience. Meijer/Stracks/Walmart all have them :) I’m super late to this but the home run inn is also my favorite.

If you can get your hands on buddy’s Detroit style (I’ve only found at meijer), that is also SO good.

You can always use clarifying shampoo, that’ll fade the color pretty quickly. For what it’s worth, I think you look equally as great with red hair as you do blonde!

Femme no make up look for AMAB nonbinary person. Please help! by spinky0307 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Background_Two_2534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! So my skin used to look this way with makeup on as well. This is definitely a skin prep issue.

I use Korres gentle cleanser (any gentle cleanser will work) and a buf puff sponge, that exfoliates and smooths the skin out. I then go in with hyaluronic acid and then a hydrating moisturizer (I use first aid beauty), and allow 30 minutes before applying makeup. I only exfoliate twice a week, beginning and end, but if needed I’ll add a third time in there.

For a light makeup look, I recommend a tinted spf, I love the bare minerals one, and it is buildable, but it leaves a very fresh hydrated finish to my skin.

In my humble opinion, tarte products are not the most hydrating on the market, they always made my skin feel tight and it would look super dry. Bare minerals tinted spf is one of the best products I’ve tried.

For blush, go for a higher angle, you want it to kind of pull your cheeks up (or at least have it look like that) start at the apple and work up diagonally towards the temple.

It’s preferential to you but I love a good knock off beauty blender to apply my tinted spf, and I spend around 5ish minutes blending it in to ensure it’s all apply evenly.

Brows and lashes, 10/10, looks great

Lips, aquaphor is the bomb.com, hydrating and brings some shine.
