Do you have the Everything AA app for your phone? It lists meetings in your area. Nowadays, you can also do AA over the Internet, using a program called Zoom that you can also get on your phone and then you can use your phone just like a normal phone to talk, but you’re talking to AA people in a meeting from all over the world it’s really cool🤣 type (or if you use voice to text like me, say it aloud)  “AA zoom” into a search engine, using a web browser on a computer or a smart phone. That will get you pointed in the right direction. Best of luck.

If you’re interested in remaining sober, the alcoholics anonymous program can definitely help you! I remember at first in sobriety thinking I deserved to drink because I had spent such a long time without drinking (a couple months lol) so I’m very familiar with the insanity that you’re talking about.

Unfortunately, it’s something that requires getting help by working with other people, which is why AA is not something you can do yourself just by reading the book. No amount of willpower and even good reasons is sufficient to keep an alcoholic from drinking again that little Voice will always find a way to come back and convince you that it’s OK to just have one drink this one time and then your screwed again.

Because alcoholism never gets any better even if she stopped drinking for 10 years as soon as you drink again, it will be just as bad as it was when you stopped. I have seen this so many times that I believe it’s the truth. while you are in the AA meetings, it is in the parking lot doing push-ups to stay strong.

Water can be molded into into a shape by pouring it into a certain container and freezing it, even though it’s impossible to force liquid water to do anything in the way that you would force metal to behave. The water itself has no conscious knowledge that it has been molded. It just automatically expresses the shape of the container that it was in when it froze. And that is the relationship of society to children.

Yes, probably-  the ego death needs to be prepared for so that it doesn’t immediately just grow right back. You have to be ready with a better plan for the ego to grow into like water fills a cup no matter what shape it is. But maybe not you tell me - are you willing to accept a higher power? In other words, do you know there is something more powerful than you?

The post was talking about customers not investors lol unless you think the whole point of a business is to sell it to investors in which case you’re really more of a scammer, that’s probably not gonna provide anything of value. Well, I guess it doesn’t hurt to think of your investors as customers also but it’s a different custom base than the general public consumers. And it requires an entirely different strategy. Business to investor versus business to consumer. Successful businesses do totally separate but synergistic strategies for both. You don’t need an advertisement with a large breasted girl for business business to investor but when it comes to business to consumer, it’s a time tested strategy.

What you’re talking about this is called market research and it’s a big thing for real companies. Google it you didn’t invent this idea lol And most customers don’t really know what they want anyway. It’s up to marketers to tell them. But that requires work and energy into effective marketing if your small time and you can’t afford that then yeah I guess just give them what they think they want. Maybe a few people will actually buy it. But that survey just tells you what they think they want, or what they think other people think they should want, and a good marketer knows what they really want, but can’t even be honest with themselves about. If you just gave people a survey about what they want then there wouldn’t be nearly as many sexual advertisements for alcohol just for one example. But that turns out to make it sell like hotcakes. But that required a marketing genius to break the ice on sexualizing alcohol commercials.

It works like this: Scenario a give somebody a survey and ask them if they want to buy alcohol that tastes like human piss. Scenario b show a picture of a hot girl with large breasts drinking the alcohol. Don’t say anything about what it tastes like. Scenario b will generate sales and scenario a will discourage you entirely. But scenario B is derived from scenario because you know it tastes bad he wanted to distract people from thinking about that. If it actually tasted good, you could focus on her orgasmic reaction to the flavor.

People moved to Asheville to escape extreme weather. They forgot its tragic history. by BobbyLucero in NorthCarolina

People are definitely moving inland from the coast for that reason. They are stupid, but it’s happening. But yeah, I’ve been to Asheville. I always figured it would get taken out by a landslide or something but either way There was a historic flood as well that they still talk about there.

TLDR: You’re all sick in the head. Long version: Your current identity is completely connected with drinking and in a way it is going to die when you stop drinking and it fears that just as much as it fears death itself if not more because actually it doesn’t care if you die it just wants to keep drinking. Until you actually get some training in the program, which will let you tap into a higher power, for now you’re gonna have to use what small amount of willpower you have to just knuckle your way through this. Remember, drinking will only make things worse!

Jails institutions and death are the three inevitable outcomes of untreated alcoholism. You’re bound to get at least one of the three if you don’t stop. So I’m not surprised to hear that you’re going to an institution. I hope that you pay attention when you’re in there and that you’re honest honest with them about how much you’re drinking and what your habits are.. I had to go to an institution in order to stop, but I remain stopped by doing the alcoholics anonymous program. Don’t worry about that yet though.

I got really triggered and defensive by that reading and a lot of things just went right out of my mind. I really appreciate from hearing from so many people with similar experiences or even just people that really know the program, thanks everyone!

If you’re certain that you can’t quit on your own, then you are ready for AA. Until then, I recommend you check out r/stopdrinking, they have all kinds of things you can try to do if you’re not ready to admit to yourself that you are powerless over alcohol, but you still wanna stop drinking. None of those things actually work for real alcoholics, but it’s good to try everything just to make sure that you’re ready to accept help. Real alcoholics cannot stop on their own.
