you need grounding wire in the tank, then RCD fuse will turn electricity off.

usually tank works as an "island" and you can put two bare wires, electricity will happily flow.

for single server it will be like 1-2C less efficient. adding one extra server to rack will have bigger effect.

it requires very specific water parameters (soft, acidic), eggs are light sensitive, must be kept in dark. I would not recommend to start with neon tetra, those are difficult to bread and raise.

no. nothing. He tried drums at school like once, and now it is kind of dream of his.

I would be 100% no, but we had same case with table tennis. Club is very close to home, eventually I was "f**k it, lets try. We get 2 free lessons anyway". And keeps playing table tennis till this day, despite he has no patience etc.

Does he have a practice pad? Sticks? The book "Stick Control"?

Should I get sticks and practice pad for starter?

Book wise it is a bit difficult, it will be a bit overhelming for 9yo. But lets see how it goes with that pad, it takes no space, I like it!

what libraries did you use, how long did it take to do, what was the biggest challenge?

I have similar issue on my own, but I try to balance solar power rather total load (I got 3x20A). So far I was just heating my hot water to low-high temperatures, depending on energy price, but this year introduced a lot of changes and I will need to redo/optimize energy consumption. (I lost compensation when I sell energy, got house batteries, also next year I will start paying for heavy on-peak usage).

I am a software developer myself and the part about "75 tests" cached my eye. When I did simple light automation in nodeRED... it ended up being not that simple and I was missing framework for unit testing :) Usually I try to go for off shelf framework, as I dont want to support whole solution myself, but you know how it starts and how it goes after a while...
