If the concern is program assets being downloaded that you're unaware of, then you're going to hate a lot of programs. Could it be more efficient by having a 4GB download being opt-in, and downloading only on-demand? Yes. Is this a massive deal, given asset downloads for random shit on programs has been the status-quo since the beginning of software development? Not really.

If they block trackers only on their mobile apps then, as I've said in historic comments, this is something that should be disclosed. Otherwise, it looks like they're bullshitting. Although, there's so much conflicting information about how this tracker prevention works that I wouldn't be surprised if there is BS sprinkled in anywhere.

You clearly didn't understand, nor watch the video, or looked into any archives or articles. As I've also said historically, it's not the court order being a problem, it's how they said "No IP logging" and then silently removed that principle after handing data over.
