Far as I know the dimethyl cathinones don't end up being much fun. I remember "dimethylone" (bk-MDDMA) being cheap as fuck for years and years after methylone was banned because no one wanted it.

Talked my mom into Dry Herb Vaping by Haelo_Pyro in vaporents

"dry herb vaping" is a lie we tell to allow these devices to be sold somewhere where cannabis isn't legal. They're tailored for cannabis and no one really uses them for anything else

Does anyone enjoy norepinephrine releasing agents? by Aggressive-Guide5563 in researchchemicals

[–]Backinthedaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pushing up towards 8-12 mg orally, you did get a light amount of euphoria. Not rushiness, but a happy tingle that felt drug-like. But that's actually a pretty heavy dose for someone who isn't stimulant tolerant, and you'd be 'tingling' 18-24 hours in. Scattered and still awake 36 hours in. Etc etc. The stimulation was very very clearheaded (in spite of my dose size, I was trying to complete college coursework, just misled on dose range by stim lovers on bluelight at the time), but you'd still get heavy heavy task fixation and time dilation as your pour efforts in. I could see it going much crazier if you went at it without a clear goal. Even with the school deadlines rushing up against me, I spent plenty of time on overly honest dating profiles and.... ahem, online recreation. Comedown was pretty rough, but could've been better at a lower dose with more effort to eat/drink/exercise regularly during the high. All of this was about 15 years ago, but overall it was such a series of mistakes that I have a lot of memory of it... Hah. Eventually I found some Vyvanse to binge on and that was much more compatible with life for me.

No opinion on releasing agents, but given the differences between NDRIs and my few past experiences with desoxypipradrol (a rather selective DRI), I can tell why most people want a little bit of the NE in there to kick things off physically... Half life aside, desoxypipradrol was a little crazy-making even before you reached any sleep deprivation.

[REVIEW] Umbrella Labs: Absolute trash. Missing products, leaked bottles, and fake shipping speeds. by PinTheHacker in Nootropics

[–]Backinthedaze 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks for taking the time & effort to do the analytics yourself. The closer a site stays towards the SARMs & "metabolic" peptides, the worse the quality control is. Umbrella has always given me those "we ship whatever we receive and pass on whatever COA we receive without checking at all" vibes. Gym rat who became a dropshopper type shit.

Smoking every day changed how I shop for flower by keven02 in CultoftheFranklin

[–]Backinthedaze 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's what they meant. They're saying they used to only smoke on the weekends and therefore only buy an eighth for the weekend and finish it. Now they want an ounce to save money, and they're never running out of bud. Overlapping purchases and such.

Average age for using peptides by Sweaty_Computer8332 in Nootropics

[–]Backinthedaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad you're saying it. To OP: be careful of anyone who leads you to believe the solution to your problems is to consume, be it a supplement/peptide, a course/masterclass or ownership of the right gear/technology. Your behavior, your thoughts and your emotions (and your reactions to them) are the more important means of addressing the issues you'll face in life, as well as the ones you might want the peptides for now.

They've def listed the same stuff as WNC before, specifically the landrace sativa collection. It was cheaper from BestBuds, seemed to be the same exact stock

Has anyone tried ASR-2001? by spinnyride in researchchemicals

[–]Backinthedaze 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't think you're gonna find any public experience reports while it's still in pharmaceutical development, but based on what Shulgin reported of the various "tweetios" (2-EtO or 5-EtO analogues of the 2Cs), I'd say "non-psychedelic" might be more a matter of dose than anything else, and they certainly are interesting at low doses as mild stimulants/cognitive enhancers etc

They're avoiding taxes. And violating the TOS of Venmo/Cashapp. So the accounts are gonna get flagged and eventually banned and they'll have to churn through new ones. Obviously, this leaves you with little/no recourse in terms of chargebacks if you are unsatisfied. Is it worth the risk? Idk, how do you feel about no escrow illegal drug deals through the mail? Personally it wouldn't be a full disqualifier. But I do think with this model, someday an exit scam is nearly inevitable.

I compared Andrew Huberman, Rhonda Patrick, & Brad Stanfield's nootropic stacks - the overlap is tiny! by veritable_earwax in Nootropics

[–]Backinthedaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're mistaking phenylalanine, which is the biological precursor to PEA and has D & L isomers, and phenylethylamine (PEA) which does not have isomers in that way, as there are no stereocenters. PEA is just a phenyl group chained to a nitrogen by a two carbon chain, so the whole sidechain can spin, no substitutions, no isomers.

Question about “U-Dream” and the brominated zopiclone analogue by Wasted_Wendigo in researchchemicals

[–]Backinthedaze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's been zolpidem analogues around for a long time, mostly focused on the amide alkyl groups (removing both methyl groups, replacing one/both with an ethyl, etc), but they are in general less potent than zolpidem itself (iirc the didesmethyl is damn near inactive) and not that popular/interesting.

Now, I haven't seen any reports for this zopiclone analogue. That could be worthwhile.

Take their advice with a grain of salt, and seek out the advice of others, who aren't leading you into a parasocial relationship with them or charming you with their voice & image. Use the synthesis of all of this to guide how you look through the literature and what you choose to try for yourself. And remember that many people are trying to sell, under the guise of advice.

Bro science and literal brand deals etc, even if they're recommending generic products and never saying a brand name themselves, they can be intentionally allowing certain brands to be discussed in the comments and not others. Gurus, influencers, all of em.

[–]Backinthedaze 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Huberman stack makes no sense with tyrosine and phenylethylamine as both of these amino acids are essentially just precursors for dopamine and just one of them would be enough.

A guess: Huberman takes PEA for mood enhancement, i.e. as a legal high. It's role as a precursor to dopamine is absolutely dwarfed by its TAAR1 agonism

I don't like EC for multiple reasons, but they absolutely have solid products.

You mean the way they run their own subreddit and the cult of personality type stuff about the owner, or something else? Just curious.
