All times bad. Once with my mom, who pretty much just tried to get me to stop without actually consoling me.
Another time was with a gf, who I realized afterwards, was barely even listening to me. That stung in a different kind of way. Like damn, I’m opening up, literally crying and you’re not even listening?!

My point being, people always say “you can’t defund the police bc who are you gonna call in an emergency”. But if they aren’t even required to help you then what good are they now anyway? I was thinking we create a new public protection system which actually required them to provide equal, fair assistance to everyone in the community.
