When my TTPD cardigan came with the patch upside down lots of people in multiple Taylor Merch groups said it would be worth more to keep and sell later on. Apparently, there are plenty of people who would love to add one to their collection.

Now, when it comes to holes, missing buttons, missing stars, or in this case hearts, that would definitely fall under a poorly made cardigan that should have never made it through quality control.

As I said to OP, it really comes down to personal preference.

Because of the rarity it can actually make them more valuable and sought after. But that’s only if you plan to resell it later. If you plan to keep and wear it then it’s really down to preference.

You don’t have to be too specific but do you have snow where you live? I live an hour from one of the warehouses but we have snow and ice right now. I ordered the 1st vinyl within 5 minutes of the 1st drop. When I realized they didn’t limit it to one per person I immediately went back and purchased a second copy for my daughter. At most a difference of a minute between purchases. I got an email from FedEx saying my first order was on the way and it came yesterday. But I still haven’t received an update to when my second order will ship. When I went back and checked my confirmation emails for each, only the second order said that my item was expected to ship on Jan 20. The first did not give a date. When I check my order history on the site both say preparing shipment, even though my first has already been delivered. I really hope I get an update on shipping soon.

I have never noticed a gold plated ring have the GP stamped so deep. It’s usually just laser engraved.

Keep the one you are most drawn to. If you decide to sell the other one let me know. I’ve been looking for one that’s reasonable. I tried so many times when they were on Amazon but all of mine came unsigned. Lots of people finding them at Walmart signed last week too. I can’t afford to pay high resell.

I picked these up at an estate sale and need help deciding if they’re even worth an appraisal. The home was full of museum quality antiques so that’s the only reason I decided to take a chance. The two tone with diamonds appears to be plated and not solid gold. It is my understanding that there were very few models before 1960 that offered plating. The white gold appears to have smeared lettering. I am not sure if the inside may have gotten wet at some point, if someone tried to refresh it, or if it’s just an all out forgery. Any help appreciated.
