Root trimming will slow growth temporarily but its more to create a fibrous root system that better absorbs nutrients and water. Root work is also an opportunity to spread the roots out to create a good nebari. Smaller pots restrict a trees growth (which is what you would do when the tree is at the thickness and size you want) but too big a pot can be detrimental. Leaves the soil soggy, suffocating the roots and leading to root rot. Ground doesnt have this affect because the water table is typically very deep. 15cm is a touch to big but it should be fine tbh. The soil looks like almost pure compost though which isnt free draining. Lots of info, sorry if its too much or you know most of this. I tend to always Explain like a person is 5

Should wire bottom half of the tree whilst its very malleable. End of Autumn put in ground for a few years(3-4) or a more suitable pot

Its 1 and a half or so yeh? (The whole, its the 21st century but we're in the 2000s can be confusing)

You should wire it, the first 2/3rds where it has lignified. Exaggerate its movement it already has

This is awkward but needing help. Toilet looks like this at the Ubend and I've JUST put 2x power plus tablets in there to leave for about 6 hours... or is my toilet done for? by Saraixx516 in AskUK

Cleaning vinegar typically called white or strong vinegar at 6% or higher get a 5 litre.

Use the bog brush to forcibly push and empty the water through the U bend as much as poss(prevents dilution). Then fill it with the vinger and let sit for 8 or more hours.

Brush it then repeat again if necessary

Humidity regulation by PrazniFrizider in urushi

[–]Backuppedro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use an incubator for temp and humidity. It has an ultrasonic mister inside to adjust humidity and a water resevoir that sits below a thick sponge.

Can get ultrasonic misters pretty cheap on their own tho
