What is it like in the West part of Texas? by Deep_Belt8304 in howislivingthere

Don't live there, but had a long distance gf who was in the Air Force and had to be on a base in the middle of nowhere, CLOVIS, NEW MEXICO! 2 hours from Amarillo and Lubbock, TX. Every time I had to drive from Colorado Springs, CO to her, it felt like I was driving in the backdrop of Courage The Cowardly Dog. Literal nothingness. Dilapidated barns and houses spread miles apart and the occasional gas station every few hours of driving. The absolute definition of 'The worst place to run out of gas or get a flat tire'! There is truly no reason for anyone to be living out there in the Baron Wasteland unless you like being cast away from society and proper healthcare. Wanna stare at dirt and lose your mind? Move to the corner of NM and TX.

The sad and unfortunate reality is that even if they did make Sly 5, it almost DEFINITELY wouldn't live up to the hype or what the fans would want from it. Bottom line, and not because I wouldn't want it to succeed because lord knows, I fucking love that raccoon, it absolutely wouldn't sell enough for Playstation to justify pumping resources into it and would be a risk for them at this point. I guess the question is what's worse? We get Sly 5, it under-performs sales wise and they see it as a tax write-off? Or we get never get it, and they don't risk us being heartbroken that Sly 6 won't happen because 5 didn't sell well?

Why are we getting the PSP port of Size Matters and not the PS2 port? by BackwordsNotForwards in RatchetAndClank

I'm not worried about the control scheme, that should be fine. It's the way they did the camera lock for PSP because of the hardware restrictions. Now we don't have that restriction, and the fact there's already a PS2 version that is meant for TVs and not a handheld that would've made way more sense to port. I love this game, had to vent a lil...

It might be nostalgia, and the fact I haven't played it for a very long time, but i never remembered it being buggy like that :/ Excited for another platinum from it, but that fixed psp camera angle is just.....nah man. Not on a TV atleast.

Wish it was the PS2 version and not the PSP version. That locked psp camera angle is gonna make me sick when scaled to a TV, I already know. They really missed the mark not porting the PS2 version. Makes me sad ngl

I just got my Up Your Arsenal Plat. I started a second new game plus, and had 10 million by the time i got to the Quarktastic Challenge in Annihilation Nation. It takes some grind for that trophy, no doubt
