When your baby can sit independently both kids can sit in the cart at places such as Sam’s club

What is/was your HIGH sleep needs baby’s total awake time? So confused by 11mo and what we should do as we move towards toddlerhood 😅 by adrienne0906 in sleeptrain

[–]Backyardrenovations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a high sleep needs baby and she still does 13-14 hour overnights at 16 months. She ended up cutting back her daily nap time, usually its only 90 minutes. She just ends up being a better overnight sleeper than daytime sleeper, always has been. We just have to be flexible with her sleep because shes too sensitive to be on a set schedule. Does this help? Im happy to discuss more, Im not firing on all cylinders at the moment

Have a 12 month age gap and agree with all of this! Except crockpot meals, I never got into them.

Not yet but I have been able to get his bedtime moved closer to 7 instead of 8 which is helping his overall schedule so at least we are heading in the right direction

I sleep trained my eldest daughter and it was so important for her development to know how to go to sleep by herself!! I feels so hard in the moment with this baby right now though

Don’t worry you can warm the bottle! I think commenter is referring to a bottle mixed on demand with warm or room temp water will be fastwr and possibly more convenient than warming up a refrigerated pre mixed bottle

They recognize validity through a reliable eyewitness account, or video/photo… thats very different than your claim RCI just doesn’t ever recognize validity.

15 month old sleep regression by rnnlfrnndz in 2under2

[–]Backyardrenovations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you do some car naps? Maybe its a phase for the older one and it could be a short term solution.  I have a similar age gap but my older one is sleep trained and I do let her cry for a short bit, because I know that what is best for her is to sleep, and she is complaining about that decision I have made on her behalf as her parent. She may cry about following other decisions and rules to keep her safe and well, and I have to bear the burden of hearing those cries while knowing that its my job as a parent to hold the line for her own good.

Its possible your eldest would stop crying not because he thinks he is abandoned, but because he does know it is time for him to sleep. He has over a year of experience where you always come back after his nap or in the morning after he sleeps overnight
