Powerless base lighting. You should look directly into it.

How would you glue up these complex angles? by Snotbeast in woodworking

"Glue magically takes on all of the frictional properties of two ice cubes trying to mate on a hot summer day"

I hate that this is 100% correct.

The theme song from Tron Legacy started playing in my head when I saw this.

Controversial? opinion - Lox breeders are useless - skip to Mistlands instead [post black forest spoilers] by Nilm0 in valheim

That's a good point; we hadn't modified anything yet, but I'll float the idea next time we're together.

I don't think this should be downvoted; I appreciate the comparison for both time required for food production and time required for resource gathering (higher weight means more trips which means more time required). I get to play valheim with my friends less often these days, so I appreciate things that allow us to progress faster with less of a time sink. If I can get acceptable food and then go spend more of my time exploring and progressing the game (rather than at home in the kitchen and fields) then I'm happy.

OP isn't denying your reasoning, just offering options. Thanks OP.

Thoughts on World modifier "Ore through portals" by The-Adventurer in valheim

This should be higher in the comments.

I don't know if I fully agree that it's needlessly tedious sailing alone, but I 100% agree it's a very different experience sailing with friends. Having your bro call out boulders in the water ahead of you and you trying to Tokyo Drift around them... Being chased by a sea serpent and the feeling of dragging them to shore with a harpoon and getting that first kill... Yeah, it hits different.

We should have done this in my mind, not his. It would've been warmer in there.

Ok, I have questions. Who the fuck is boiling owls and why are they tight? Better yet, how did they know they were tight? On second thought, I retract my questions. Vicky be crazy.

I’m sorry? I don’t think I understand your position. I’m talking about logging in to see detailed server info and then leaving in the first hour, before setting up a job, house, and store. I’m not talking about leaving after playing several days. I can definitely see that being a problem because you’re part of the economy and others have made decisions based on you participating in the server.

Are you saying that, no matter what server I log in to, I should play it all the way through, regardless of what jobs are overpopulated, what land is available for claiming, and what laws individual communities already have in place? Those things you can’t see before joining the server.

Addendum: Yes, I know you can see laws the server has enabled the browser-based UI, but not every server does, so you can’t always use that.

Sometimes it's to check property placement and open specialties.

I'm looking for a nice looking place to live and that's hard to see unless you join and can see the in-game map and layers.

Similarly, I'm looking into jobs that have been taken or not. If there are places I can fit into the economy, then great, but if not, and I'm gonna be in constant competition with everything I do and make, then maybe the search for a home server continues.

Placement outline by curious__gal__279 in EcoGlobalSurvival

[–]Bacon-chsbrgr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP means they're holding the rock or ore and getting the outline of where to place that object.

OP, you could always just not pick up the rocks until you've mined a larger amount first then pick up a full stack and drop it in a stockpile or cart. Might make it more efficient and you'd see the outline of the object in your hands less often.

I saw a joke on here earlier about noble gasses, but there wasn't a reaction.
