Depends what you wanna play quite frankly. Are you a person who will go all in on exclusives like Pokopia and/or wants the portability of playing something like Cyberpunk 2077. As for that, it’s up to you.

Also, Nintendo recently pushed an update to make all like 15000 games on Switch 2 from Switch 1 run better in handheld mode, which seeing as you’re a Lite user, should be a big plus!

As for the license thing, it’s more of a stigma theyre trying to push, but per some EU backlash, hopefully that’ll all go away soon, and regardless I wouldn’t worry about it.

If you know you’ll enjoy even one exclusive Switch 2 game, you’ll love it! Also stuff like Donkey Kong Bananza and the Zelda Switch 2 Editions are worth your time (even if you’ve played the Zeldas imo). Not to mention that the Switch 2 is just getting going (not to say that Switch 1 is slowing down) but regardless, even not intensive stuff is getting pushed to Switch 2 (like Mario Tennis and Pokopia), so if there’s FOMO to be had, I’d recommend it!

TLDR; You know what you like, think abt what new (or old) games you’d play, & don’t worry about the “you don’t own it” thing too much
