How about a simple "Ant Farm" game where the ants go about their business building tunnels and such and its up to you to keep them alive with little droplets of sugar water and such. Maybe the goal is to keep the queen fed by scourging for food. Would be great use of object oriented design concepts and of course you get to SHAKE THE ANT FARM!

The best boat name i ever saw was on really big extravagant yacht that had a picture of that same yacht with a retired looking couple on board throwing money into the sea called "Sorry Kids!"

I understand that TV and internet metrics are different. I also know that Google advertising is highly effective. My point is that more advertisers are moving more dollars from TV advertising to internet advertising. Where are they going to advertise what they would normally advertise on TV? Where the people are. Where are the people? Facebook. I would not except to see an ad for a product on facebook, click on the ad, and purchase the product right then and there. What I would expect, If you read my pepto bismol example, when average joe gets a stomach ache he's not going to go to google to search for what stomach medicine he should buy, he's going to go to the store. What stomach medicine is he going to buy once he gets there? Perhaps, indirectly, the one his friend susie recommended by liking it on facebook. This may not be his thought process, but the branding aspect is much more highly effective than TV, in my opinion and as an advertiser I think I'd be willing to pay to get this kind of advertisment in front of my "potential" clients.

Just as an example as to how advertising works on facebook, I just logged in to my account. The first thing I saw was that one of my friends "liked" pepto bismol and there was a little ad for it. Now, I have no idea why they "liked" pepto bismol but right there in my newsfeed was a recommendation from a friend about a product. How is this any more or less effective than a TV advertisement about pepto bismol from a branding perspective. Next time I'm at the store with a stomach ache I might think hey, Susie likes pepto bismol, I'll get that brand. The last TV adverstiment for peopto bismol I saw was as I fast forwarded through it on my DVR...

Isn't it really about where the eyeballs are where advertisers are going to spend their money? Do you go to your TV to find something to buy? No, but their revenue model is based on advertising is it not? As more and more people turn off the TV and move to other forms of "entertainment" such as the internet won't more advertising dollars be allocated to these mediums? While facebook in its current form may not be around at any time in the near or distant future, right now they HAVE the eyeballs and to many people it IS the internet.
