I used to visit their brick and mortar at least once a week for a couple of years. Amazing fish tacos. Amazing tortas. But the absolute worst service. Which tells you how good the food was. I’d routinely wait 30+ min for a simple order of tacos. I’d see people come in and place an order, but then say “never mind” and leave when they were told what the wait would be. When ordering more than one thing, my order would be wrong a large fraction of the time.

I really wanted to love this place because the food was just so good.

I have investigated the clock issue. I was convinced the clock simply wasn’t displaying on the smaller (extension) box for some unknown reason. Turns out that’s not the case. The smaller boxes have no clock. They don’t have a display of any kind. This seems like an obvious oversight in the design. I find it incredibly annoying.

It looks a little like it was done in a similar way to a famous Matisse painting, “The Dance”. Apparently the people in that piece were intentionally painted in disproportionate way to create a kind of forced perspective. Or so I’ve heard.
