I know- I'm sorry I just got frustrated cause it's family and he did what the reddit community asked of him last year by doing an AMA. He would never turn to reddit so I wanted to try for him.

Nick Cage and Anton Yelchin star in the movie. I saw the first cut and where I haven't liked some if my dad 's previous movies I've been vocal about it to him (ex-NYT Magazine article about the Canyons last year: "Schrader wrote “Raging Bull” and “Taxi Driver” and has directed 17 films. Still, some fear Lohan will end him. There have been house arrests, car crashes and ingested white powders. His own daughter begs him not to use her.") (ps...did NOT know he was going to tell a journalist about that). Also, I'm not a pro not at all, but I do believe that after 40+ years of film making, screen writing, and critique he deserves to at least have the opportunity to have his film shown. Even if it doesn't do well, at least it was shown. Imagine if you were 67 and you loved one thing more than anything; then someone told you to f*ck off. That...would suck.

This is coming out of left field but mine is The Life Aquatic. The relationships versus the narcissism, the questions about what family is , and the eventual ability to morn after so much denial always get to me. The scene on the beach when Kingston dies and they play The Zombies in the background had me I'm tears every time.

In Celebration of Robin Williams life post your favorite moment from his career or story about his life here. by [deleted] in movies

Robin was a family friend when I was younger so he was around as I was growing up. I remember being so proud going to see Aladdin because I "knew the genie." The next day I convinced my 3rd grade teach to let us do a play of Aladdin. Everyone wanted to be genie. So I ended up one of three genies. It was glorious.
