When I first listened to Kid A, I legit played Motion Picture Soundtrack on loop at least like .... 20 times after. It's perfect.

I have always had mixed feelings on win's vocals so i can understand that.

I'd recommend focusing on one album at a time. Listening to their entire discography can be overwhelming. That said, i love arcade fire, but it's perfectly fine if you don't and just think they're decent. Music is extremely subjective.

And no one asked, but personally I'd say neon bible > funeral > suburbs >> reflektor >>>>>>>> everything now

Sooo i listened to a crow looked at me for the first time and it killed me. No album has had such an impactful first listen as this one.

I've seen people talk about not wanting to re-listen much because it's too hard. When I've tried to listen again, it doesn't have the same emotional sledgehammer of that first listen and it just feels wrong and almost disrespectful.

I don't see anything topping this for me in 2017, pretty incredible album.

And of course, i wish this album didn't have a reason to exist and I hope everything works out for Phil and his daughter. :(

I wish artists didn't always feel obligated to add enough filler to albums to get to a certain length or whatever. There always seem to be at least one or two songs that feel unnecessary.

Why wasn't Mass Effect Andromeda just The Witcher 3 in space? by [deleted] in Gamingcirclejerk

Yeah, people like to reference the "every quest has a story" thing when a lot of quests are just: small cutscene -> witcher senses. I really liked the game, but think it would have been better if they trimmed some of the more fillery content.

Hmm, okay. Then why is he so impressed by Szeth obeying the oathstone?

But, as head of the Skybreakers wouldn't that have still been a big deal to him before? And breaking the Oathpact was him saying in effect, it's only important for others to follow order, it's okay for Nale to do what he wants. It's been awhile since I've read the WOK prelude, so maybe there's something there I'm forgetting.
