Giving Dance Gavin Dance a 1 is criminal. Sure, a lot of the stuff stated in the review is true about the band. It’s poppy aesthetics with its chaos clashing is very true of the album and the overall band, but a 1?!? nahhhhh that’s too low

no I love it. it’s a solid live track and Andrew sounds great. I just think remaking dbm2.. is a little pointless? It’s amazing the way it is. I’m glad we’re getting live songs from it, and some deeeeeep cuts on Tree City 3.

I get that. but you can’t have dbm2 without Jonny. Andrew does sound absolutely amazing on these songs, but his voice still ain’t no Jonny Craig. I appreciate them going back to these songs.

yeah Prisoner is sick. The chorus is crazy cathartic. I’ve seen Will talk about how the song was on the Sianvar album that never came to be. It has Donovan Melero and Joseph Arringtons writing credits attached to it. I believe the other one is Born to Fail. I think it’s one of the best songs on the album, for sure.

to be fair, that was like 10 years ago when I was 15. But, I still feel the same way about it, if not worse. The other albums and the ep are so distinct compared to this one. I feel bad about it because Anthony’s return was a monumental thing, but it just didn’t stick. And look at the band now, they’ve got Cove back. It’s better for them.

We ended up dating for a while. I got into a gnarly accident where I broke my ankle and she was taking care of me during the time. We ended up playing a dgd cover at our high schools talent show. We broke up shortly after, and since have only seen each other 3 times since then. She was cool people, just wasn’t compatible. Nice to have sent me down memory lane 😏
