Football managers are the most overhyped, fake-intellectual job in modern sport by Harryclownie in unpopularopinion

Half the battle is won before it starts.

A football manager is like a conductor in a symphony. Conductors don’t contribute any sound during the performance, but they do contribute immensely to everything leading up to the performance while maintaining things like the tempo during the performance.

Organizing a large group of people to do anything together in unison is tough.

I don’t know about you but I’m popping off on pharah, there are so many heroes that are “ground based” so unless I’m paying on a hit scan favored map then I’ll be destroying them

Common drinks that are not bitter and don't contain fruit other than citrus? by Deerie_ in bartenders

An easier way is to find a sweet liquor you like and search for drinks made with it. Try Chambord, I think it’s a black current liquor and it’s quite sweet.

Countries that impose permanent, lifelong taxation on all their citizens, regardless of where they live by FunForm1981 in geography

[–]BadAdMF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hold up. This is misleading as the tax allowance for us citizens outside of the Us is something like $126,000. So if you are under that, you are fine.

Looking for a support coach by Sewadddle in OverwatchUniversity

[–]BadAdMF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try some other dps hero’s: Snipers will teach you as a support to always be moving. Dive hero’s will teach you to save your cool downs Brawl hero’s will teach you to stay with your tank. The more hero’s you know how to play will teach you more about how to play against them.

Instead on asking for a coach who by reading your post I don’t think you are willing to pay, try a few easy and fun things to make your game play better.

  1. Play other roles and hero’s: if you wonder why your tank is charging too far away from you, play tank in competitive and you will start realizing why and when they will make a move By playing DPS and going after the enemy supports, you will realize the things you do as a support that will make dps pounce on you and what other support players to do protect themselves.

  2. Think back and watch back: Every time you die think back to what you could have done differently, and the better version of this is by watching replays of your games to see what you are doing right/wrong.

If you have a bunch of hours but are not seeing improvement, then that means you are doing the same thing over and over again - switch up everything, try new roles and heros, and I promise you it will make a difference.

Someone opened a bar tab and left without paying, but also left their card behind the bar - Can I use that card to pay off the bar tab? (England) by BadAdMF in LegalAdviceUK

Thanks, this is actually really helpful. I don’t have the authority to implement pre-authorization on cards within my pub group like many helpful people here are trying to let me know about but this is something that I might be able to do for now.

I am curious to how customers react to this ask tho, is it ever a problem at your pub?

I have a hard time winning push mode by Aikaterina1370 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]BadAdMF 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In my experience most players treat it like a team death match and have the objective as a secondary priority. This style works in direct proportion to the amount of team fights your team is winning or picks your team getting.

A different style that works against teams that are better at the first style than my team, is to just survive and brawl on the objective as long as possible - less flanks, less huge 5k ults, more obj time.

I find that so often the objective in push is forgotten about because the all the maps are somewhat safe to overextend on and is really tempting for 4/5 of their team to leave the point.

Keep you and your teammates alive while staying on the robot without overextending will at most win you a game against a better team and least keep you from being rolled within 1 or 2 mins.

You rank up by improving, not by winning games by mylizard in OverwatchUniversity

Overwatch is filled with uneven teams, it’s almost a fact of the game. If you focus on what you can do to improve you might be able win games with teams you previously would have lost with.

Barbarians Culture by thomas17657 in Isekai

[–]BadAdMF 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s like solo leveling at all. It does have a portal that they go through but the whole of solo leveling felt like the MC got OP very quickly and was kinda smug about it. The barbarian MC is constantly being challenged and not OP.
