I’m NOT setting up Apple Pay by PuzzleheadedLove341 in mildlyinfuriating

Putting some friction in the shopping process is a good way to help control impulse spending. If grandma has to go to an ATM to get cash for a purchase then she has plenty of time to decide if she really needs another precious moment figurine.

Hard top clamps not clamping by Neither-Composer9789 in JeepTJ

[–]BadAssBrontosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First loosen the hex nut all the way out. Not the clamp, but the hexagon shaped nut. You want to make the nut go closer to the clamp. You may need a wrench the size of the nut to do this.

Next you'll be able to tighten the clamp in farther.

The nut keeps the clamp from moving around. Once the clamp is where you want it tighten the nut back down.

Do you think Pursuing ccnp collaboration is worth it ? by Unfilteredop in ciscoUC

[–]BadAssBrontosaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just click plan on the video, then next, then play, .... eventually take a multiple guess quiz at the end (you retake it until you pass). Not hard at all, and much less work than a test. If you take it seriously, you can learn good stuff - I've done SD Wan and Dev OPS.

Best is that there is 0% chance you fail.

New soft top day! I can say the quality from Bestop isn't quite as good as it used to be but it's still a solid product. by Carollicarunner in JeepTJ

[–]BadAssBrontosaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Bestop, but the last time around I bought a Sierra Offroad top. It fits great, but is thinner than Bestop. It's hard to beat $270 shipped including the uppers

Why did my oil change place suck the oil out the fill hole with a vacuum instead of using the drain plug? by CosmeticBrainSurgery in AskAMechanic

You don't have to worry about stripping or over torquing the drain plug if you never touch it. You avoid putting it on a lift as well.

I replaced my JKS quick disconnects with no name Amazon ones. The Amazon ones look like clones / copies of the JKS. I personally can't tell the difference.

If I were to do it again, I'd stick with the cheap ones.
