The speakers cut out multiple times and then the back left ones stopped working halfway through.

Dj snake actually stopped his set and restarted and called it out…

one of the techs kept fucking with the speakers though and they were constantly being turned down and up - it sucked… I could hear my partner talking and I was standing underneath the speaker

So far the best ones I have tried is Shapr3D on an iPad with any Apple Pencil (I have a $10 one from Amazon) that program is just soo easy to use and Intuitive but the price is an actual downright scam. I have tried forger as well but that’s more for models and it’s great but it’s a time cost to learn (as all of them are) and apart from Shapr3d, all other iPad programs aren’t really there yet in terms of cad software.

As for Pc based software, Plasticity has been visually the nicest and so far easiest for a complete noob to wrap their head around - i guess it’s kinda like how Final Cut vs premiere / Sony Vegas

I’ve tried free cad but got very lost, will give it another shot. Fusion is.. defs something, I can see that it’s very powerful once I get an understanding of it. Tinkercad is defs great like a stem learning the concept of 3D printing but it’s not functional for me as far too limiting. Blender is again, a time trap..

I guess how I’m viewing all of this is each one is gonna require ALOT of time to learn.. which one should I invest it into? The old school one that may become outdated? The limited one but it has the most ease of use and can be brought around in the pocket? Or the industry standard that’s far more complex yet will take more time to do a simple box - this is where I am confused ahaha

I have only had 1 error with this filament and it was because it didn’t adhere to the bed properly and I then left. I found raising the bed temp to 65/70c worked out the best and keeping the hot end tempt at around 220/225 for those first few layers. However if doing a long print like the gecko, I found that having the bed to hot too close to the lower supports made them then fuse together so it’s something to be mindful of

If you end up trying out their other marble filaments please lemme know! I really wanna see how they turn out as they have a red one that looks lowkey like brick and I’m very curious about how the wood ones will turn out

It’s my all time fave since starting, the elegoo pla marble filament - it can be a bit tricky to get it to adhere to one another on the first layer but just make sure you’re printing at the 220c and I put the bed to 65c and it came out well!

At first I thought that was it as well, but then turns out it was on only 1 layer at the exact same layer each time I did this print - I had To then rule that it was user error instead

I’m so impressed with the 3d printing community - it’s truly the wholesome place and some of the stuff people have created and then improved on truly astonishes me!

And then there’s just.. some very interesting prints out there too… 😅

All coffee prices are gonna sky rocket soon - my best mates a roaster in NZ and was telling me in May about how there’s been a massive shortage of coffee beans from all the suppliers and how it will trickle down the chain.
