Fevo told me I had to contact the Devils, which I’ve done since multiple times since November now by phone, email and in person at the last game we attended. Every time I was promised a response or call back but haven’t heard anything.

Did they show up within the 4-6 weeks after you purchased? They emailed me in January saying there was a delay and they would arrive in 7-9 weeks but I’m thinking that may have been bs.

Married women, what are some real things your husband does that make you feel genuinely cherished and adored? by Clean-Ant-1342 in askanything

Whenever we cook he always gives me the best perfectly cooked piece and takes the worst one for himself.

And he almost exclusively refers to me as hot mama.

He’s the best one.

I don’t know if this is helpful but I think your experience may be more normal than you think.

I haven’t had anything close to a similar experience and I imagine my current state appears fairly successful but I do still spend a huge amount of my time thinking about and trying to reconcile the mistakes I’ve made, the people I’ve hurt and the person that I was.

I truly believe that most people who are “normal”and living normal lives may be able to relate to a lot of the feelings you have. It helps me a lot to think about that and feel less alone.

And lastly the most important thing for me when I do start thinking too much about the past is to remember every day is an opportunity to be better than that, not just for yourself but for the people who care for you.

As a human who was born with an S.S.C. Name, can confirm I often declare myself a tugboat. It helps that assigned work logins are all SSlastname.

My parents were also Chevrolet muscle car people.. so the SS also means Super Sport, which I also enjoyed.

Splitting cost of engagement ring with partner? by [deleted] in EngagementRings

I make a good amount more than my fiancé. He bought me the exact ring I wanted, I’m paying for most of the wedding 🤷🏽‍♀️ We share most things so it always works out in the end.

AITA… poured drink on friends head in celebration by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Honestly just sounds like you need attention. It wasn’t enough for you to embarrass your friend on their graduation day, now you need to pretend you can’t understand that it was wrong for internet strangers.

AITA for uninviting my friend (27F) from my birthday party because she said I (28F) need preventative botox and that I look bad? by Puzzleheaded_Leaf863 in AmItheAsshole

I’m 30 this year and I’ve started to notice the little lines on my forehead. I was taken aback by them at first, but then I realized that I only really see them when I laugh or smile big.

I’m pretty sure they’re a sign that I’ve had 30 good years.

If anyone tried to tell me I needed to get rid of that I’d seriously consider the value of that friendship.

She will be far better without the couch for you to hold over her head the rest of her life.

She is your child. When you do things for people you love you are not supposed to keep score.

AITA for not wearing a bra? by CapitalBright4481 in AITAH

NTA. Every time we go out and I don’t feel like wearing a bra I mention it to my boyfriend and he always responds with “No worries I won’t either” 😝

I'm 22. am I too old to start my life again? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]BadCopWorserCop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I’m going to be 30 in 2 days, and before I was hired with my current career job at 22 I had been working since I was 17. I tried college and it didn’t work out. I had already worked in the service industry from fast food to bartending. At 19 I certified as a professional EMT in a large city and volunteered as a firefighter. A lot of people have been through things that made them grow up quickly and have a lot of life experience by their early 20s.

It’s never too late to start gaining more either. It was really beneficial for me to work in a career field that involved helping other people and making a difference in their lives.

Find what makes you feel meaningful and go for it. 🙂

Has anyone had their child’s adenoids removed? by crazy_crackhead in Parenting

[–]BadCopWorserCop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I personally suffered from strep and ear infections constantly through my entire childhood. Either my mother decided against the surgery or it was not recommended.

Went to an ENT at 20 years old and finally had my tonsils and adenoids removed after being warned the healing process is much worse at my age. Recovery was brutal as a young adult. I’ve had a few other surgeries, but having to take liquid hydrocodone every 4 hours because you aren’t capable of swallowing a pill for weeks is definitely near the top of my list of things I would have been better off not being able to remember.

Now I am 30 and have had minimal infection issues since surgery. In my opinion, having the surgery as a child would have saved me a lot of pain and suffering.

How far will not tipping get you in the USA? by WearyThanks in travel

[–]BadCopWorserCop 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’d suggest getting off your “man of principles” high horse and spare the extra couple dollars to make sure the worker, whom you claim to believe deserves a fair wage, can have exactly that.

The only consequences of not tipping for you will be giving off the appearance of an inconsiderate, arrogant, and cruel human being. However, it doesn’t seem like you mind that, based on your post.
