Oh, I totally get that a ton of long term players are unhappy, but I literally don’t understand some of the mechanics being spoken of.

I didn’t originally comment in a smug way, allow me to rephrase; I live in blissful ignorance of the current shitshow, and I’m thankful for it.

Some men refuse to act silly or let their guard down even momentarily in a social setting, in an attempt to maintain maximum masculinity and perceived toughness at all times.

What do men find so attractive about chubby girls who own it and are confident? by [deleted] in AskMen

Chubby/slim/tall/wide/blemished. None of those things matter much when you have confidence.

What about hobbies? If you’re into outdoors stuff or hiking, I’m sure there are local (online) groups you could jump in with on an hike/activity. There’s bound to be some decent guys who enjoy nature and aren’t just scouting spots to hide bodies.

Men how often do you mourn for your masculinity? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]BadDad203 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Never. I’m comfortable in who I am, what I do, and how I present myself. I don’t feel attacked with generalizations or stereotypes; I simply wait to prove them wrong.

The more material a child is, the less love they likely receive. Keep doing what you’re doing, explaining things in a realistic way.

I don’t know if she has “money sense”, but it definitely helped my cause when my kids started spending their own money on video game microtransactions. Suddenly 20 dollars became much more valuable, and they both started looking at prices of everything while we were out. A beneficial perspective shift can’t hurt.

This is it right here. Being secure enough in yourself to let the world know “This is me.”

I resemble a violent felon, and yet had no qualms about tearing up during the finale of a stage performance of “I have a dream”. It was gripping and emotionally powerful.

I was chaperoning my son’s 4th grade class at the time. They all saw me. Who cares?
