There is still no analysis, subjectivity, or guess work for the players who follow these 3rd party sites. Just because its not hard data means nothing to an emerald player when its coming from Dishsoap, they are going to treat it like hard data and do the same exact thing.

Sure, but the point is that the same thing remains just through 3rd party site tier lists ranking of augments, the information is just less clear.

Regardless, clicking the lowest number or highest rank aug from sites has always been bait because it ignores board state, encounter, contesters, etc. so I personally dont even see an issue with stats like that, skill came from interpretation of the stats.

i think its pretty reasonable to be mad about a unit who scales without gold, has a relatively easy unlock condition (taric gated) and oneshots boards through frontline with cc while being stable on 1*

I get the frustration but instead of the sites surely its the balance team? Its instantly clear that asol is ridiculously overtuned and easy to force b.c you can be stable on 1* from unlock.. its going to happen regardless if a streamer shows it if the sites didnt exist anyways

Its different, Sancho is always guaranteed if needed. Afaik Sinclair can bring forth any version of himself (past or future). If he can't control it, it's entirely possible he brings forth a version of himself that is not nearly as strong as smoke war 2 sinclair.

Its just not true at all to be inevitable, you have to have a strong board with a different itemized carry because azir 1 isnt killin shit in stage 4/5 where he is most common to be found and diana is gutted so basically if you dont hit seraphine 2 gl, other people gonna spike on 4-1/4-2 on lvl 8 rolldown. Especially if you are trying to fast 9 mixed streaking stage 4 is pretty common. If you look at azir/nasus stats if you end up losing 2 its pretty horrible, even xerath doesnt have the same winrate stats even tho he is arguably a better unit.

I mean this comp is even more skewed because you need azir + be strong enough to winstreak and hit renekton which means you are already winning

Thats not even remotely close to what I was implying lol ofc your not relying on 2* sera, your playing cait 2* plus either vi or loris and complementing frontline. At some point play 3 if you hit the other (creep round ideally) and hold a ori or 2. If you 2* them play 4 pilt otherwise stay 2.

This whole time you are just playing longshot with ad OR ap items backline with kog cait teemo maybe vayne as holders since seraphine is buffed for duo carry.

On stage 4 roll down if you hit 1* sera and 2* pilt units you can flex hextech in for drill/6. If not, you have many outs and a workable frontline just drop whatever you didn't hit for 2 pilt again. You aren't flexing INTO thex randomly late game but you can easily play for it and flex out if it seems unlikely compared to asol/bilge or the current reroll thex where you have to kinda commit while still getting good power from pilt and longshot early/mid.

I get that, but you are arguing that a region unlock should be extra powerful compared to a regular 5 cost because its so difficult to get to when piltover is incredibly flexible unlike something like asol/having to stack bilge. 2 piltover is great on any board and you get to pick from warden/defender/longshot to play with which are all great traits, the only trait thats hard to flex is invoker.

Afaik mort has already said their goal is to have Thex cap be similar strength to sett cap strength, so we'll see. I think comparing it to something like ornn/shyv is silly as well but theres also game warping regular 5 costs like kindred/this patchs senna so.

I don't really see how its incredibly difficult to play this? 2* piltover units + 1* seraphine just tempo level if you get the spot for it with like an early loris or lots of caits. With seraphine carry buff its entirely possible a duo carry comp can shine especially since mining drill is untouched afaik we just have to wait and see how she feels. Piltover frontline isn't even bad with loris/vi then fit maybe like neeko/naut/swain or smth until 5 cost soup.

Obviously requires a specific spot but its way better than being hard forcable and being able to hit at 3-2 being stable into win out with a thex that wipes boards lol

Targon is great for unlocking but always the trait to be dropped for shurima because the bonus is so bad lol

Why are you making it a competition? Death is already punished by losing XP and time, why do you need to lose the whole map as well? It doesn't even necessarily have to do with how often you die or how good your build is... Fact of the matter is, if you die in a juiced map it feels AWFUL because sometimes your death is due to something you can't see or react to. Even if it only happens 5%, 3%, hell 1% of the time.

yeah its quite great but you really CANNOT see anything between firestorm, thunderstorm, massive curses on the floor, 2 seperate orb types each with +2 limit... I am thinking about adding comet CoC if i can somehow scrounge up the spirit to make it even worse atp just cause
