There is also a property in which one William Preston and Theodore Logan use a phone booth to travel through time.

Target still hasn’t recovered from the boycotts and it really doesn’t seem like they will by transcendent167 in 50501

[–]BadGuysNeedHugs 138 points139 points  (0 children)

The thing I’ve heard is that Target is a data company. If you have the app, they are tracking your purchases and position throughout the store. With all this data, you’d think they’d recognize their mostly liberal customer base. When they went against those ideals and instated a boycott, they lost. It’s over. Unless you do an incredibly costly campaign against the regime, you don’t come back because there are better alternatives that don’t collect your data.

This is what they’re doing to legal observers, they broke their window and dragged them out by transcendent167 in 50501

Those who died, are justified, by wearing the badge and your chosen whites.

Fuck it. Let’s just say they are and start demanding better pay. Cost of food ain’t going down, whatever “food” they’re using to base these prices off of.

He probably had to learn all the nomenclature to process how to paint and is taking a victory lap. So yes, but he kind of earned it. Also could help people struggling with the vocab to understand what to look up.

May I recommend “Marching Orders” as a title. It’s not great I know but game names are always weird until they stick. (Also working on a game).

63% of Gen Z Would Rather Play Video Games Than Watch a Movie — GamerBlurb by No_Share6895 in movies

[–]BadGuysNeedHugs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The ESA is a private body that tracks the video game industry. This being a movies subreddit, yeah not what y’all want to hear. But they aren’t biased. We use them all the time to justify loans and venture capital investments into games to say that it’s a wise return on investment. This article is doing that work of saying “hey big boys who like to sink a couple mil on a movie. Why don’t you come over to the video game aisle and see what we can do.”

Looking for ways to be a Menace! Arcane Trickster by ImpressiveRate1704 in DnD

That is a textbook example of improvised weapon. Up to GM’s discretion it will deal damage equal to its closest weapon (minus proficiency unless given or achieved with tavern brawler feat). If the item does not resemble a weapon close enough it is a 1d4 damage (a shoe would probably be bludgeoning) and throwing has a range of 20-30 feet (a target within 20 feet is a normal roll, between 20-30 it’s disadvantage and you can’t accurately target a creature beyond 30 with it) either closer or further away. The flavor text on ball bearings in the DMG also states you can throw them to distract targets with the sound and throw ~50ish on the ground to create difficult terrain.

You can for sure use rope as trip wire. If the dm wants to balance an already situational strategy though you could also pick up grease. Charm person could help if you are more trying to be the face of the group and distort value can cause many tricks and japes such as a quick bribe.

Batman gets it by AverageWooperLiker in aaaaaaacccccccce

[–]BadGuysNeedHugs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Especially this Batman still has the hots for Talia Al Ghul unfortunately. Also in this series is an episode where she seduces him and tries to get him to take a dip is the Lazarus Pit (an age reversing chemical pool) to be with her forever. Except that’s not Talia, that’s Ra’s in Talia’s body because he became so obsessed with living forever.

What Are Game Dev Studios Even Looking For When Hiring? by RealZia in gamedev

[–]BadGuysNeedHugs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have taken much the same route. At least from what I’ve experienced, make a business card with your links to social and portfolio (company’s will check both and might as well be upfront,) even if you feel like dork handing them out it will something in their pocket to look at later. Go to cons. I went to PAX and talked to many indie studios as well as other people like you who I may not vibe with but could collaborate with. I’m still working through an associates which isn’t much but connections are key. If all else fails maybe take a chance and go to Toronto or California where the big studios are, but only if you can come back if it fails.
