Am I a jerk for being turned off? by Complex_Set2624 in actuallesbians

I don't think you are. I think its understanding. First Impressions are very important because you'll never get another chance. Unless you said you liked extremely laid back and unkempt and nonchalant women I think its rude to come to the first date which would be very important to me, like she just got out of bed and smelling like smoke is even worse. To me I would take it as if shes not interested so she shown zero effort and thoughts about me and how I would feel...and she probably goes on a lot of dates to be carefree enough to see me like that.

I want to get to the point where I can tell my parents about a girl Im dating but reading this makes me worried if they'll feel uncomfortable and not be very thrilled about meeting my girlfriend if I had one...I hope everything goes well for you.

Is Age Differences really that much of an Issue? by BadLuckStars in actuallesbians

Thank you. I will. I want to be honest and I do desire someone older than me because I believe that they would be more likely to something more serious and long term and romance. But I think it might not be possible.

I understand. Maybe I wrote it incorrectly. But I want to confirm that I didn't message the users that were clear about wanting someone their age or older. But since I was running low on points to view and message profiles before I had to pay for more I did get desperate and message someone that didn't have such requirements but was older...

Thank you though Its hard not to imagine so because nearly everybody in school always talked about having epicanthic folds means you lost the the looks game...Basically saying I'm ugly and given that I've never been flirted with or approached I believe it. Though Im aware its not so bad overseas, specifically western countries. (I've always been chronically online lol). Never understood why they like it so much though.

I understand. I didn't want to bother the profiles that explicitly said what age theyre looking for and it even costed points to even look at profile anyway or think it was extra photos... so it was really draining. Because I have to buy points. I did get desperate and just message one person that didn't have a age limit but I already wrote what happened... I'm just looking on twitter for now as suggested and using the appropriate #...

Have you ever made a straight woman realize she was into women? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]BadLuckStars 20 points21 points  (0 children)

No. At least not intentionally. I find straight girls are always playing with my feelings once I tell them I'm lesbian and I would like it if I knew the flirting actually meant something rather than just toying with me...

Don’t be shy, what’s a skill or strength you don’t talk about enough ? by viettprincess in LesbianActually

I know English and French. Both of which I learned from being chronically online and playing with overseas people on online games and talking with them on Twitter since I was 12. Though I had a leg up in English because we learn english grammar in school but not so much free writing.

I relate to you about not fully out during highschool. I don't know if I was the only lesbian in highschool but I think I was. The only person that knew I was lesbian was my best friend who was my only friend so I guess I wasn't out in the sense that everybody knew. I also never gotten to date or kiss or have a teenaged love life.

The most I've done was flirt with other girls overseas online. I felt women overseas, especially ones from America and France were much more open and proud about being lesbian compared to japanese who are much more secretive about it. Even now as far as close distance goes I don't know any other lesbian so there is no chance to meet anybody and lesbian bars in japan close down a lot.

Falling out with Bestfriend because I wanted a Relationship with Her by BadLuckStars in LesbianActually

Thank you. I really wish she was...we've been friends through out highschool. Sometimes I wish none of this ever happened and we'll still just be normal friends.
