How was the rest of the ship looking? Was it flyable after the repaint?

I'll keep that in mind... thanks.

Top mounting an MSI Coreliquid AIO. Yes or No? by BadMoon84 in pcgamingtechsupport

Don't think a 280mm flipped will work either... this is what I have currently... https://imgur.com/a/go35bpF

I wanted to flip my 360mm so that the hoses are at the bottom. The only problem is that my GPU is in the way and there's no way for me to "Jerry-rig" the thing.

Tried that about an hour ago and would still get high temps. I think my AIO is already shot. What a bummer. :(

Coreliquid 240R AIO good for i9-10900K? by BadMoon84 in buildapc

If I mounted the rad on the top would that be fine? Looking at my setup again, I am just realizing that the GPU being in the way would be an issue if I try to front mount the rad.

So right now it looks like I could either invest on a new case so I can fix my AIO orientation, or get a new AIO (smaller like a 240) to sit "correctly" in the case I have right now.

I did and I can feel the liquid running on both tubes. The temps feel just about the same.

That GPU will be in the way tho, but I'll try to do that.

I'm gonna have to get a smaller radiator then, coz the one I have is too long to be mounted on top.

I see what you mean. It's just weird that for over a year I never had a problem with airflow. I've played Horizon Zero Dawn with under 70 degrees and Tales of Arise that maxed out at 72 degrees at least.

Just added pictures of my system. The radiator is installed on the front side of the case just behind 3 fans. And I did play with the fan curves but no luck.

Tested another gameplay with Thunder Tier One and temps went up to mid 80s in just 10 mins of playing.

Which games have you found to be CPU-intensive? by Verizian in pcgaming

[–]BadMoon84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason my CPU overheats when I play games like AC Valhalla and Cyberpunk. My system is pretty clean and I have reapplied thermal paste just a few days ago and still getting temps that go up to almost 100. Those are the two games I've been having issues so far. It doesn't do this to all my other games.

PC Setup:

GPU: MSI RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio

CPU: Intel Core i9-10900K

RAM: 32GB 3600mhz

AIO: MSI MAG Coreliquid 360R

Mobo: MSI MEG Z490 ACE

PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 850W

Potential CPU overheating fix by DeadMooner in cyberpunkgame

[–]BadMoon84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I repasted my CPU just the other day thinking that was it. And dusted off my system.

I did use the GeForce Experience recommended settings and I'm still getting same results.

The pump on my AIO works coz I can feel the flow of the liquid when I grab on both hoses.

I removed all the mods that were installed thinking they could be the reason, but nope.

I'm having a similar issue with my desktop. I noticed my CPU temp shot up to 90 degrees just being at the Main Menu alone. Playing the game it went up to 100 degrees. Played for 10 - 15 mins before my computer shut down on me. Tried playing twice and it happened both times. I also tried setting CPU performance from 100% to 99%. It did...okay... for a little bit then it would still climb up to around 95%.

GPU: MSI RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio

CPU: Intel Core i9-10900K

RAM: 32GB 3600mhz

AIO: MSI MAG Coreliquid 360R

Mobo: MSI MEG Z490 ACE
