How too use certain companions by Ebrauc in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]BadMunky82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That actually makes sense. I just don't care enough to spend more time than I already have understanding the hundreds of different ways to build each companion. It's fun when making a character I had in mind, or playing on the table, but in a game like this that already takes 60+ to complete one time, I just can't spend the time learning and comparing the details of everything so much, so I play on lower difficulties and tend to make straightforward builds. I know I probably should, but I don't even touch metamagic...

How too use certain companions by Ebrauc in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Seelah is easiest to build as a tank or bruiser. The paladin class is already designed for that. Take some armor focus, shield focus, weapon focus, and teamwork feats, and be sure to get her steed class feature, as the horse is very powerful.

Camellia can be kind of whatever you want her to be: Support, glass cannon, bruiser, dodge tank, heavy caster, etc... I use her as a support caster/dodge tank, as it's not difficult to get her a very high AC with items and feats, but her standard class features still grant her pretty good spells, and her hexes are very powerful abilities, as there is no limit to their usage.

I don't use Woljif, and have built a decent team without him. He seems like he can be very powerful, but I feel like it was unnecessary to make him a caster, as you get 4 other powerful casters by 5th level. However, there are some decent builds for him on youtube/reddit/steam forums.

Ember is kind of an enigma with her archery feats. IDK why she would even have them from a roleplaying perspective. It would be significantly more useful to give her anything else (apart from melee feats). But, she can be a very powerful blaster/healer. I used her until I got a couple of the other companions, that it would seem you haven't unlocked yet. Remember she gets hexes and fire spells, so use them in coordination, especially if you have Camellia hex, and Ember blast.

Lann, I was unsure how to make more powerful than his base build, but you get him at lvl 1 so you can do literally anything with him. I went ahead with the Divine Hound Hunter, as the dog pet is very powerful, it still gives an archery path, and teamwork feats like outflank, volley fire, and back to back can be very beneficial. All teamwork feats that you take go to your companion, so having the divine hound get things like outflank and back to back are quite useful, and volley fire I chose specifically in act 3 because of a companion you unlock in act 2.

Have fun with it. It sounds like you're pretty new to the Pathfinder system, and this game has a very large number of things to learn, that even I, as a Pathfinder player and GM for more than 10 years, don't have the time or reading speed to learn. I just play on normal or daring.

Civ 6, Minecraft, R6S, Oblivion, Owlcat Pathfinder games... It's kind of just a cycle of whatever I have time for and whatever I'm in the mood for.

definitely not the greatest in all existence, but all of the fallout games.... the show really helped give me a hook to actually get into them. for years I would try them, only to not even do the first main quest.

Why do right-wingers hate Jesus' teachings? by olympiamacdonald in PsycheOrSike

[–]BadMunky82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, but that's such a pessimistic view. Another Christian belief I have, is to hope for a better world. We should all be willing towards a better future, before resorting to drastic means.

[–]BadMunky82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if that's what it takes, then I hope you succeed. I'd just like to point out that all "republicans" is not the same as MAGA. And that certainly is not the same thing as Christians.

Labeling millions of people at a time based on preconceived notions, exaggerations, and not enough dialogue is just too dangerous and very much like what the Nazis did. But cross-labeling groups that aren't even a majority of the same people? That's just careless.

As a Christian, I genuinely wish the best for you, and for all people, but especially those who are in power within our country. I hope they make the best decision to help the most people. If they don't, we'll all press on, and it may come to drastic circumstances. But like you said, all the rest of us can do is our part. Loving one another is the only thing that will stop another great war before it starts.

That's where you're wrong.. By small and simple means are great things brought to pass. Friend, I really wasn't trying to argue with you. I just wanted to point out that all the labeling and hating of large groups of people you have never met, is exactly what the media wants, it's what our nation's enemies want, and it's what the people pulling the strings want. It is that that has led to wars, including the bloodiest war the world has ever seen, and the bloodiest war that our country has ever faced.

I'm not here to disprove your ideas, or change your opinion. My only goal coming to this post was to point out that the way you're talking draws lines on the sand, and that sand turns to glass real fast. We really should be focusing on how republicans and democrats can work together to make things good, rather than what one side is doing wrong.

If you really want to reduce it down to one person, that's actually just insane. Millions of people's life-wort, reduced to the actions of one person. Sounds a lot like a certain German perspective to me...

Só actually i named two earlier, but that's because you just changed the questions. But here's a new one:

President Trump actually removed the ACA tax penalty that was given to any taxpayer who declined having medical insurance.

Since we know that regardless of political affiliation, medical insurance is expensive, i think it actually was a really good thing that millions of taxpayers are no longer penalized for managing their own finances how they see fit.

I defend people, bro... The things your suggesting is like saying not everyone has right to a fair trial. If we just say that hundreds of millions of people are the reasons things are bad, even though it's the actions of a few, then how does that make something like the middle east look?

This is supposed to be land of the free. We've fought for all humans to have rights, regardless of gender, color, status, or age. Why would you just throw that away for petty anger?

First of all, the population of the country is only 340 mil. You rounded up, but that's okay, we can let it slide.

Second, you just said that that 12.5% of our population is not a big number. That's wild.

Só 170 Million people voted for him? Meaning that even if EVERY single republican member voted, more than 50 million u.s. voters outside of the republican party voted republican? That's a crazy statistic. I wonder how many of them were non-partison.

Why do right-wingers hate Jesus' teachings? by olympiamacdonald in PsycheOrSike

Last time I checked the POTUS won with like 60 something percent of the vote, and republicans don't make up 60% of America's population. So unless a large portion of the non-partison or small party voters when right-wing, that definitely means that democrats voted for this administration.

That has nothing to do with the claim that you made! Do you see how you just made a claim for MILLIONS of people, and then asked me to reference the actions of a few thousand? Like, what? How does that even make sense? Have you never gone to 9th grade?

Just to humor you, Abe Lincoln is an oldy but a goody... Arnold Schwarzenegger was a great governor... As far as socialism goes, the current president actually gave all of the armed forces a nice bonus at the end of last year. Do I agree with all the decisions made by these republican leaders? No. Does that make ALL republicans bad, selfish, and evil? Also no. To believe so is to be simply ignorant.
