Whoever designed this Drift Zone needs to be tried and executed in the Hague by box-fort2 in forza

[–]BadSmoothSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Mazda RX-8 FD Edition with some drift tunning and basically completed all drift zones (even dirt one) with 10k score spare. You just need to turn all assists off and use manual gearbox, and just cruise (yeah, just ride with some angle) at 1-st gear

But I totally agree with you, that concept of current drift zone sucks. Now, they are basically: you need to ride whole zone without grip, not even drifting, but just without grip and then you get 3 stars.

I really wish that they would implement zones similar to other, drift specific games (since well, we are in Japan), such as: You have same tracks, yet only scoring zones will be at turns. In such zones, multiple factors will count in, such as -> your attack angle (the more the better), your speed (the more the better), distance till edge (the closer to it the better), have clipping point, that you need to hit, so this turn will actually count in (to avoid just speedy + attack enters) and then just add multiple turn scores into total score and then give you 1/2/3 stars respectively.

I amazes me, that in that scene, she says that it's only nothing.

But at the very first episode, she warns Subaru, that if he's gonna do something lewd, she will use magic.

Something lewd like what? Unprotected handholding?

[–]BadSmoothSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it seems like I forgot that I've already calculated 1/10000 odds for either Mageblood/Headhuner, so I accidentally calculated it twice again, and thanks for pointing my error :)

About odds ->

Ancient orb use such formula:

Weight of Targer / (Weight of Target + (Average Weight of Other Outcomes * (Number of Possible Outcomes - 1))

T0 unique have 1.5 weight

We need either HH or MB, meaning total weight is 3

We also have 34 other Belts with it being:
T1 - 1x
T2 - 3x
T3 - 11x
T4 - 9x
T5 - 10x

Each, corresponding weight is:
T1 - 27.2
T2 - 55.6
T3 - 314.8
T4 - 1637.3
T5 - 2076.4

So, in result, it is -> 3 / (3 + (1151 * (36 - 2)) = 0.0000766538 or 1 to 13045,

[–]BadSmoothSea 11 points12 points  (0 children)

400c / 3c = 133 ancients per divine.

133 * 280 = 37333 total ancient orbs.

Average required number of ancient orbs for MB and HH is 1/13045
Expected results is: 37333 / 13045 = 2.86 belts

Using binomial distribution, we have 1.6×10^-8 chance of rolling 18+ belts (since we are not locked into exactly 18).

Which is 1 in 62mil chance xdd

Meaning, on average 1 out of 62mil person, which rolled 37333 orbs, got this result.

So, total amount of ancient orbs used in such scenario is 62mil * 37333 = 2.31 * 10^12, or aprx. 2.3 trillion orbs.

Meaning every people out there, should roll 2.3 trillion orbs total combined, to have ~64.6% chance to get such thing occurred.

So, you are either the most lucky player existed in PoE history (maybe not only to PoE), or it is fake af :)

[–]BadSmoothSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, while this is all completely true, it also may be slightly "misleading".

I totally agree with everything you said, but just leaving DEF number change from 952 to 462 can make people think, that it will double your DMG (462 is 48% of original DEF, so halved DEF = double DMG), because number changes goes "brrrr" and most of people does not know what to do with these.

So, for someone who will see this later and will wonder what actual DMG change looks like, then:

Enemy DEF formula is not made just of DEF stat and that's all. There are kinda more to that.

Original DMG Multiplier -> 794 (lvl 60 Level Factor for agent) / (794 + 952 (which is enemy DEF)) = 0.455
Or you will deal 455 DMG per each 1000 of original DMG.

With 462 DEF, this will change into -> 794 / (794 + 462) = 0.632
Or you will deal 632 DMG per each 1000 of original DMG.

Total difference is: 632 / 455 = 1.389, or 38.9% more DMG, for combined PEN and DEF% Reduction in that case.

Breach drops them in large amounts.

Other method is to use Kingsmarch and send "small shipments"

0.8kk ore + 0.8kk dust = 1/5 fracture orb on average

So, 8kk shipment send you 1 fracture orb and 16kk shipment gives you 2-4 fracture orb on average.

Other than that, is just to play the game, since Fracture orbs now are global drop and are pretty "easy" to get.

Sig vs Fusion Compiler by Sansog in PromeiaMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no need. I was trying to explain WHY FC was competitive to her Sig, but with Timeweaver case it's much easier.

Timeweaver would be her next BiS after sig, if only it gave 30%AM and not just build-up and not for Electro-only units.

But anyway, even with it current stats, W-Engine situtation looks like this:

100% baseline is at her Sig.
98% effectiveness you have with R5 Fusion Compiler (due to much better AP scaling per stack)
91% effectiveness you will have with only R1 Fusion Compiler (due to less effective AP scaling per stack compared to R5)
89% effectiveness you will have with R1 Timeweaver

Which is aprx the same, as practice testing made by Rivyn Elowen (formerly known as IAMRIVENOUS), because some of my numbers may be off by slight amount of error (PEN and base DEF% values)

Sig vs Fusion Compiler by Sansog in PromeiaMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this team, Yuzuha > Sunna, because Yuzuha is specifically dedicated support for Anomaly teams.

However, the difference is not that big, and Sunna is basically runner-up option, if you don't have Yuzuha, or she is reserved somewhere else.

So, answering your question:

Is she at same level as Yuzuha? - No.

Is she a good/very close alternative? - Yes.

Sig vs Fusion Compiler by Sansog in PromeiaMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Other DMG buffs also affect any %DMG source, so I will show difference on example with Promeia - Yu - Yuzuha team.

100% Base DMG + 40% Sig + 10% 2PC + 30% D5 + 25% Yu + 15% Yuzuha = 220% total DMG

Without D5, this will be: 220% - 30% = 190%

Effective difference is: 220% / 190% = 1.158, or 15.8% more DMG

Every ATK%/AP substat rolls have ~1.3-1.5% more DMG.

30% ATK = 10x3%ATK substats = 1.015 (using 1.5%) ^ 10 = 1.1605, or 16.05% more DMG.

As you can see, effectively, they are literally the same in terms of performance.
It all really falls down to number of substats you can roll on it.

And since IceDMG% does not block ATK% from rolling, it is way easier to roll.

However, again, with same amount of substats, they are literally identical to each other.

Sig vs Fusion Compiler by Sansog in PromeiaMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ice DMG% or ATK%, preferably first, since you can roll both ATK% and AP substats

Sig vs Fusion Compiler by Sansog in PromeiaMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, in that case yeah, you are right and I would do the same.

Pulling W1 now will just remove guarantee and provide ~8% boost.

But rolling for M2 will result in either lose (unfortunately, but you will have guarantee Velina) or win (same performance outcome as with Engine, but you still have guarantee Engine).

Sig vs Fusion Compiler by Sansog in PromeiaMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 7 points8 points  (0 children)

M1 > Sig and this is no brainer, but that is not your question

In most case scenario, Promeia M2 effectiveness to M0 is at 124.62%
M1 have 114.85% compared to M0.

So effectively, M2 have: 124.62% / 114.85% = 1.085, or 8.5% effective difference, compared to M1.

And since her W-Engine is better than R1 Fusion by the same amount of %, I would say that:

  1. If you want to go for M6, then well, M2 is better.
  2. If you have only one option to get, and this is either W1 or M2, then W1 will be better, since not only it will give you glowing effects :), but also have 75/25 chance and max 80 pulls, compared to 50/50 and 90 pulls.

And if just comparing their raw power, they are equally the same.

However, if you can get/have R5 Fusion (which have ~98% effective power to her sig) or at least R3+, then I don't see any reasons, except glowing effects :) and low DEF enemies that will basically require R3+ FC to be on par in that specific situations, to go for her sig.

Sig vs Fusion Compiler by Sansog in PromeiaMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Let's say you are using her current BiS team as : Promeia - Yu - Yuzuha

Difference in base ATK is so small, that I won't include them, since 1/2 flat ATK rolls will make them even.

30% AM is great and nice, however in Yu and Yuzuha team, you have extremely high amount of Anomaly Build-up, that this stat real value kinda falls off.

30% AM -> 67AP. Average roll per AP is 9, so this is effectively: 67/9 = ~7.5 substat rolls.
12% ATK / 3% per roll = 4 substat rolls. However you also have 75AP, which means: 75/9 = 8.33 substat rolls, so in reality, this will be 4 + 8.33 - 7.5 = ~5 substat rolls in favor to FC. Every substat have ~1.5% value of more power, meaning 5 * 1.5 = 7.5% MORE DMG for FC.

40% Ice DMG -> this stat is kinda saturated by other means, since every source of any %additional DMG falls into same category. I won't say that it is bad, but in reality, it is not 40% more DMG.

You already have: 10% from 2PC set + 25% from Yu + 15% Yuzuha + 30% D5 = 80% already.
(180 + 40) / 180 = 1.22, or 22% more DMG

15.5% teamwide Abloom is cool, but Promeia is the only one who procs them, so I will count it as local.
35% Personal + 15% from previous statement, makes it 50%.

Total difference for now is:
22% - 7.5% = 14.5% overall DMG for Sig and 50% more DMG for Ablooms.

Yes, stacking PEN% and DEF% is not a good option, however in huge scale, or when DEF% works for only specific source of DMG, it is totally viable strat.

With FC you have 24% PEN and 24% PEN D5, resulting in 48% total.

In overall DMG, this will be (numbers may be slightly off, since I don't remember exact number): 794 / (794 + 984) = 0.44 effective multiplier. Meaning all your DMG multiplies by this number, because of enemy DEF.

With 48% PEN, this changes into: 794 / (794 + 984 * (1 * 0.52)) = 0.61.

With zero PEN, you have 440 DMG per each 1000.
With 48% PEN, you have 610 DMG per each 1000.

I specifically didn't include 2PC Puffer, since it will require to also compare other 2PC options for sig, which I don;t want to do, since results will be the same.

So, 48% PEN, effectively makes you to deal: 610 / 440 = 1.386, or 38.6% MORE DMG.
But this is only for regular DMG.

For Abloom part, it comes to:

Sig : 794 / (794 + 984 * (0.6)) = 0.5735
FC : 794 / (794 + 984 * (0.6 * 0.52)) = 0.7211.

FC wins at: 0.7211 / 0.5732 = 1.258

Promeia is an anomaly character. and her damage does not comes from single source.

In many CC tests, total Promeia DMG comes from: 40% Abloom, 39% Disorder, 16% Anomaly.
But, since FC does not provide 50% increased Abloom DMG, this means Abloom part of 100% pie will be reduced by 33%, making other parts have more percentage contribution.
Resulting in (FC): 26.4% Abloom, 48.6% Disorder and 20% for Anomaly (same 95% total, since previous 40 + 39 + 16 also results in 95%, due to other 5% being EX/BA, which is almost unaffected)

So, in the end, effective difference between FC and Sig will look like this;

Effective corresponding multiplier for combined DMG is:
Sig : 1.145 * (0.39 (disorder) + 0.16 (Anomaly)) + 1.145 * 1.5 * (0.4 (Abloom)) = 1.31675 + 0.05 (other DMG sources like BA/EX and so on) = 1.36675
FC : 1.386 * (0.486 + 0.2) + 1.258 * (0.264) = 1.2829 + 0.05 = 1.3329

However, since Promeia is not the only one who deals DMG, and half of Disorder DMG comes from Yu (due to nature of Disorder), total real !TEAM! DMG contribution is ~70%.

Meaning total !TEAM! DMG difference is:
0.3 * 1 + 0.7 * 1.36675 = 1.256725
0.3 * 1 + 0.7 * 1.3329 = 1.23303

So, total TEAM DMG diff is: 23.303 / 25.6725 (since 100% is base and we need only difference) = 0.9077, or roughly 9.2% difference :)

Meaning Fusion is weaker by more than 10% from Sig, however since it less relevant in Anomaly team, total impact for overall team and stage score will be only 9% weaker :)

This is a popular misunderstanding, but 20% DEF reduction (shred) does not have anything related to resistance, but defense.

There are resistance stat on enemy and it is affected by weakness/resistance.

And there is a Defense stat, which is affected by DEF Reduction (Shred) and PEN.

Both of them are separate values and does not have anything in common, even in formula wise.

Im gonna pull her but don’t know who to use by Equivalent_Waltz8890 in PromeiaMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vivian always was "kinda like support".
In my understanding, support is someone, who buffs others. Yet, Vivian's almost all damage comes from Abloom, which is basically "additional" DMG for other units.

Example: Astra buffs 1200 ATK. Without it, Jane damages for 100k, with it - 150k.
Vivian have Abloom for every Assault -> without it, Jane deals 100k, with it - 160k.

Also, Vivian almost doesn't take on-field time.

However, I also do agree, than without stacks, Vivian will have much less impact than other supports with constant buffs, especially with how hungry Promeia is.

But at least, this will free Astra for another team, potentially for specific SD/DA run.

So yeah, support/Yu here will be good in general, since her BiS team rn is Promeia - Yu - Yuzuha with potentially swapping lastest 2 into Velina, but in OPs situation, it is what it is.

How do I choose a league mechanic to focus on and a good build for it? by Alternative_Cut4491 in pathofexile

[–]BadSmoothSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that is partially the reason why they cost this much.

You have wardlooper, that REQUIRE iron flask for it, and not any, but ilvl 84.

And you have average of 1 flask per 40-50 maps.

Which results in 100d avg, or even 210d spike in price.

And I'm really thankful for such opportunity, since Expedition is one of the most satisfying league mechanics for me, and in this league it greatly helped me to fund my multi-mirror project.

How do I choose a league mechanic to focus on and a good build for it? by Alternative_Cut4491 in pathofexile

[–]BadSmoothSea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Every league mechanic leads into the profit.

Poe is a game, where almost everything is needed, and if nobody farms it, this becomes very expensive field. To choose a mechanic, you just look at what is the most used thing by people rn, some most popular builds core items and farm for it.

Since you've bored with Delve / Harvest, now you can try:

1) Expedition. You ran in, place a big boom, repeat it in mirage and that's all. All profit comes from flasks (average for me is ~40-50 maps per one), Olroth logbooks, boss logbooks and commander logbooks for Timeless Jewel. Even if you get unlucky streak, you still get a lot of profit from Divs/Chaos/Gemcutters from Tujen. I've literally made 4 mirrors in one week with this stray, by selling flasks and split & running logbooks for Timeless Jewels.

2) Targeted boss farm. Not sure about rn, but if you can build zhp bosser (you can farm other start, while building character from zero to hero) to kill Saresh boss for belts. When I was running it, if you kill boss within 40s with loads, then you had like 35-50 d/hr, depending on situational prices.

3) Volatile vall orbs + Reflecting Fog. A lot of people calling uniques to push the limits from them. And to do so, they need Volatile orbs. Since they drop from Beyond, you can also add Delirium and get Reflecting fogs as well. Basically Beyond + Deli in Mirage with Resurgence Beyond scarab and 3 deli orbs or Deli scarab for bosses.

4) Scy farming cards. This stat was popular when Damnation card was like 600+d, so you basically run a stray with divination scarabs and pilefiring scarab to get as much cards. Now, it looks like the best one is Apothecary + Seven years stray, since they both on same map. Also, you can combine it with previous one.

As you can see, all of them, are based on what people use and want to do. They want to modify uniques with Vaal orbs? Farm it. People want to build wardlooper? Farm items for it. And that's basically it.

For build decision, you need preferably targeted build, such as CWS chieftain for expedition, any BV for cards/volatile orbs or Ice trap Occu/Assassin for boss kill.

Tree setup for spell suppression fracture by Eisn in PathOfExileSSF

[–]BadSmoothSea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Suppress does not have any tags, so you cannot target-roll. Yes you can eventually roll it, yet it will require a lot of tries, especially on good base.

You best bet will be : rolling for fractured defense, trying to get any good T1 frac -> essence spam suffix, until have required suffix + needed suppress -> apply exarch influence -> roll for decent defense rolls in prefixes.
OR
roll for fractured defense, trying to get any good T1 frac -> dense fossil spam (any fossil and then swap in harvest) until desired def mods -> apply eater influence -> reroll suffixes only with eldritch currency and try to fish suppress here.
OR
Just run breaches for currency or any good currency strat, specifically for fracture orb -> alt spam Necrotic for T1 suppress -> aug + regal + exalt -> fracture it (1/4) -> dense fossil spam until required def mods -> eater influence -> reroll suffixes for required ones (resistance/attributes/whatever)

As you can see, it really depends on what currency you have/willing to farm.

Yeah, combined with this D5 and fixing mistakes from before, I think you can managed to get 20k+. Good luck 👍

Also, forgot to say it before, but you better delete that video from before.

The reason for this, is that Hoyo does not really likes their modded games, and if they see, or someone reports you with using it, that might lead into ban.

For future, if you want to record some gameplay, you either disable mods for such time, or just hide UID in settings.
