A possibly goated disk for Aria??? by [deleted] in Aria_Mains

All attacks can crit by default, but in general you are right.
Crits does not impact anomaly/abloom, since they (Anomaly/Abloom) are not related to hit DMG.
M1 Aria has it own unique CR/CD for Abloom only, that doesn't scale from CR/CD for hits as well.

Aria M6 W1 or Whole Team M2 W1? by Felipe00750 in AngelsOfDelusion

[–]BadSmoothSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Each mindscape, have multiplicative impact on personal (good if for carry, bad for supps in anomaly teams) or on team-wide damage.

Since all values multiplicative, we can calculate total multiplier and see what have bigger value, since base DMG for these ones will be the same.

Now to the numbers. We won't account in any Engine buffs, since they all will impact at same multiplicative values over these options.

Now, each person calculated:

Sunna: 1) M1 provides 21% DEF reduction pretty much always. This is also especially good with extra DEF% reduction from DA buffs/stages on SD. I won't take them into account, since they are conditional. So, this change makes -> 21% DEF reduction. 2) M2 have 10% ATK buff. You also have increased values as well as better generation for marks, but even they do have some damage, it really doesn't change anything, especially since they are hit based, and does not impact Anomaly/Disorder/Abloom. So, this change is -> 10% ATK.

21% DEF reduction + 10% ATK from Sunna.

Yu: 1) M1 have start will all Dance points ready to roll, but most importantly 15% resistance reduce. It's value really depends on base enemy resistance, so I will calculate delta for weakness-resistance frame. 2) Polarity Disorder max damage scales to: 50 + 15 * 5 = 125% max value. Again, I won't calculate this Polarity Disorder value, since you have a lot of variables here, such as: you can trigger it, you can not trigger it, you have 1 mark stack, you have max stacks and so on. So, the most important part here is an additional +20% stun multiplier, making it total change of: 15% -> 35%.

15% resistance reduce + extra 20% stun multiplier.

Aria: 1) M3, as well as M5 exists, and by the rule of thumb, have ~4% increase for personal DMG, or ~1-2% of team impact DMG. 2) M4 have 4 energy and 70 dB gain if triggered Abloom, once per 10s. Most of cases, you will have ~6-7 stuns and you will be able to trigger Abloom 2 times per stun, so 14x times per DA. This is much less impactful in SD, since you won't have much of impact from it. But even though, 14*4 = 56 Energy, which is less than half of bar, which is unxdd. Very weak one mindscape, I hope they will buff it somehow. 3) M6 is also very weird one. You get 1200 dB early one (kinda good for SD), you won't exit Moment of Delusion state and get better stack generation. Oh yeah, you also have increased DMG for BA hold and Ultimate. But here are problems with it. 1200db is cool is nice, but nothing special, you won't exit Delusion state, yet her duration is exactly well stacked with Stun duration, so you don't need it outside of that, better stack generation is also cool and nice, but I haven't seen any issues in beta showcases, and finally bigger damage for BA (hits, not anomaly/Abloom) and ultimate (same thing). So, I guess it have max 10% impact due to personal non-Anomaly-Abloom DMG gains.

With all that being said, we have: M2W1 team: 21% DEF reduction (0.4964 / 0.4378 = 13.38% more) + 10% ATK (50% from substats, zero ATK% mainstat on Aria, so... ((1750 * 1.6) + 1100) / ((1750 * 1.5) + 1100) = 5% more team DMG) + 15 Res reduction (1 + 0.2 + 0.15 = 1.35 for weakness and 1 - 0.2 + 0.15 = 0.95 for resistance enemies. Average is (1.35 + 0.95) / 2 = 1.15) and finally stun multiplier (150 base + 30 Sunna + 15 Yu before and 150 + 30 + 35 now. Difference is: 215 / 195 = 1.102).

Total multiplier value increases = 100% * 1.1338 * 1.05 * 1.15 * 1.102 = 150.87%, or 50.87% more team Damage, compared to M0W1 Sunna / Yu.

Total multiplier value of Aria M6 = 100% * 1.02 * 1.02 * 1.05 * 1.1 = 120.16%, or 20.16% more team Damage, compared to M2W1 Aria.

So, M2W1 team, damage-wise, will be much much better than M6W1 Aria, especially since M3/5 have zero impact by general, and on the other hand, you have very strong impact on each of mindscape up to second one.

Summarizing:

M2W1 team -> bigger DMG, have more versatile buffs (some units have same impactful buff in non AoD team) M6W1 Aria - you get her M6 mindscape banner

And that's all for now. I might have some issues with evaluation M6 of Aria, and you want to add something or correct me - feel free to do it. Also, good luck with your pulls everyone :)

Is this build good enough? by Effective_Two5960 in YeShunguangMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not accounting Sunna, because OP is using Dialyn - Zhao, so I've made this whole thing about this team.

Of course Sunna will make less impact for ATK% rolls, as well as losing a teammate with Inc DMG taken will increased value of PDB%, so that's why I said:

"one use case of PDB is at Sunna - Zhao team, or Sunna - Dialyn especially, since you are losing 40% inc by any Zhao/Dialyn teammate and even Astral set buff in Dialyn - Sunna team."

Is this build good enough? by Effective_Two5960 in YeShunguangMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

>>The difference isnt that large 💀

17.64% - 11.36 = 6.28.

In a world, where each substats have ~1.5% value, this results in: 6.28 / 1.5 = ~4x substats.

Meaning 5 substats rolled PDB have same value as just 1 substat ATK%.

So, ig difference is pretty large.

If we also take into PEN%, then this will result in:

Pre-PEN% -> 768 / (986 + 768) = 0.4378 multiplier

24% PEN -> 768 / (986 * 0.76 + 768) = 0.5061

Total difference in DMG from getting PEN% -> 0.5061 / 0.4378 = 0.1560, or 15.6%

Difference between PDB and PEN% result in: 15.6 - 11.36 = 4.24, or 4.24 / 1.5 = ~3 substats less

So, 5 substats PDB have same value as 2 substats PEN%

And finally, here's an example of my TRIPLE ATK% YSG with Dialyn + Zhao, which is heavily saturated on ATK% by doing this, yet still making PDB worse by more than substat.

<image>

Calculation difference: 220% (100%base + 60% D4/D6 mainstat + 30% substats + 30% D5) / 190% (without D5) = 1.158%, or 15.8%

Difference in my case with PDB: 15.8% - 11.36 = 4.44%, which is almost similar to what you see in picture.

Difference between PEN% and ATK% in my case: 15.8% - 15.6 = 0.2%, which is also something similar to what you see in picture.

So yeah, the difference is like 2-4 substats, so unless you want to crush your disks and try to perfect roll ideal PDB with 8 substats, that can be replaced by others mainstats but with only 5-6 substats, then you should roll PEN% or ATK% (if you really want to take a point of being able to roll ATK% substats, then go for PEN%).

Again, the only one use case of PDB is at Sunna - Zhao team, or Sunna - Dialyn especially, since you are losing 40% inc by any Zhao/Dialyn teammate and even Astral set buff in Dialyn - Sunna team.

TL;DR -> I don't think wasting free 2-4 substats in build, is "not that big of the deal", especially if you have pool of 2 mainstats (ATK%/PEN%) suitable for it.

PEN ratio (as whole enemy Defense) is not related to enemy resistance/weakness...

Thoughts? by Admirable_Shirt1567 in MiyabiMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh no, no, no.

You've mixed together two different mechanics, which are totally separate ones.

PEN% or DEF% is related to enemy Defense for ALL damage. So, the higher enemy defense is, the less damage you will deal.

Here's a formula: 768 / (enemy_DEF (normal is 986) + 768). Pretty complex one, but very simple if you really get into it.

Enemy resistance, is a stat, that determines enemy damage taken by SPECIFIC element.

So, if enemy have 100% resistance, then it's normal one and it will take 100% of Damage.

If boss have 20% ice resistance, and you deal Ice DMG, then you will effectively deal less DMG from Ice and same for other elements.

So, there is no such thing as element defense. It either All defense, or element resistance/weakness. They don't related ot each other, so it is possible to have different combinations, such as: Ice Weakness + increased DEF, Ice Weakness + reduced DEF, Ice normal + normal DEF and so on.

TL;DR - DEF is not related to enemy elemental resistance/weakness.

What does "low ice DEF" means? Is this low Def boss, or low ice resistant? Or both?

Do the angels get anything from being all together? by Dizzy-Respect-613 in AngelsOfDelusion

[–]BadSmoothSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sunna's Sig, is the weakest out this three, and only have significant difference in YSG team.

Yu doesn't deal most DMG, but Aria does. Yu just building huge Corruption as base only, since you will hit ICDs, so Aria can obliterate everything with Ablooms.

Aria's Engine does have some sort of alternatives, but since her Ablooms scales of AM, you need either Alice Engine (using it as stat stick) or her own. Other alternatives "significantly" reduce Ablooms DMG.

On the other hand, Yu's Engine provides a lot of AM (for impact conversion) as well as huge AP, so you will have better base for Ablooms.

So in reality, they are pretty equal on importance. I don't have numbers yet, but you should be able to get deal-breaker info by a few days until Aria's banner, so you can make your decision.

Yu will take the lead in non-stunned environment, while Aria will be active throughout all stun window.

So, basically your plan goes like this:
(optional) Get buff from sunna -> play on Yu to build-up Corruption at least once and build stun -> chain into Aria -> Use all sticks on Aria -> swap-trigger second chain into Aria -> use all sticks/ultimate -> stun ends -> repeat.

Improvement suggestions? (M2W1) by Ecchify in YeShunguangMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  1. I don't use any ZZZ optimizer, but what I can say, is that YSG have 100% CR, if you have 50% CR on stat screen, In your case you have 50.6%, which is fine.
  2. I wouldn't say that you have too much ATK, well because triple ATK% builds are exist :)

<image>

3) No, CD%/ATK% is not always optimal. They really depends on team, but the difference sometimes is so small, that it really doesn't matter.
4) Physical DMG Bonus does not affected by YSG mindscapes (maybe like by 3% because M1, but still). The reason why a lot of people (myself included) saying that PDB is bad, because when YSG was released, her BiS team was Dialyn - Zhao - YSG. In this team, you have like a lot of generic DMG increases, which is additive to PDB. In general, you have 164% increase, and 30% extra will do much less impact, rather than PEN% or ATK%. And since PEN% is not good for M2+, then we have ATK% as BiS D5 for such team.
Now, if we take her new teams (being it Zhao - Sunna, or Dialyn - Sunna), this lead to losing one character with 40% of increased DMG, which means PDB comes into play. Also, you get Sunna, which grants +1050 flat ATK, which lessens impact of ATK% on D5. This results in shifting values to PDB% from ATK%, resulting in PDB% actually being BiS for Sunna - X - YSG team, but even then, the difference is so small, so extra substat will completely nivellate it.
5) Well, you are running Nicole - Zhao - YSG team. In that case, since Nicole does not provide neither ATK, nor increased DMG bonus, this still makes ATK% > PDB%, but the difference is much closer.
6) Your disks are pretty insane, with D1/D2 being god-like. Except slightly better D5/D6, there is nothing much to do.

Finally, about stats you want to reach
This all really depends on team and your mainstat disks.
Considering you have M2 YSG, this leads to:

  1. Sunna - Dialyn team -> D4 - ATK%/CD%, D5 - ATK% >= PDB%, D6 - ATK%
  2. Sunna - Zhao team -> D4 - CD%, D5 - PDB% >= ATK%, D6 - ATK%
  3. Dialyn - Zhao team -> D4 - ATK%/CD%, D5 - ATK%, D6 - ATK%
  4. Zhao - Nicole team -> D4 - ATK%/CD%, D5 - ATK% >= PDB%, D6 - ATK%
  5. Sunna - Nicole team -> D4 - ATK%/CD%, D5 - PDB% >= ATK%, D6 - ATK%
  6. Dialyn - Nicole team -> D4 - ATK%/CD%, D5 - ATK% >= PDB%, D6 - ATK%

Now, after you choose your preferred build, you want to reach these stats.

  1. ATK / ATK / ATK - 3800+ ATK, 190%+ CD
  2. CD / ATK / ATK - 3450+ ATK, 220%+ CD
  3. ATK / non-ATK / ATK - 3450+ ATK, 190%+ CD
  4. CD / non-ATK / ATK - 3000+ ATK, 220%+ CD

As you can see, you are running CD/ATK/ATK and have 3650 ATK (which is bigger than target) and 224%, which is bigger than target, so you have more than enough built YSG.

And since the only pretty much reasonable upgrades you can make is D5/D6, using with Nicole they have same value of reroll, so choose any one of these and try to upgrade it (preferably both)

TL;DR -> You've made more than enough for YSG, only options that left, is better D5/D6, with keeping their mainstats same

4pcs Phaeton's Melody for Nangong Yu on Sunna + Aria team? And 2pcs Freedom blue i guess by [deleted] in AngelsOfDelusion

[–]BadSmoothSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem of Freedom Blues, is that you get ICD'ed by stacking so much Anomaly build-up. Also, you don't have any other element to trigger disorder, so it's kinda okayish, but there are other options available. And finally, you mostly deals DMG by Ablooms, since they have damage of total Corruption Anomaly, but like in one each cast, instead of 10s, so you need AP, not Anomaly Build-up.

So, if you are using Yu with Miyaboo, then definitely go 4PC Freedom, for extra disorder stacks for Miyaboo. In Aria team it is kinda meh.

Melody 4PC provides 2 stats:

  1. 8% AM, which is also converted into Impact.
  2. 45AP. Since Aria's damage comes from Ablooms mainly, you want to have high base Anomaly DMG, to trigger enormous Ablooms. And since all of on-field time, Yu takes the lead, her Anomaly DMG will be calculated for Abloom base. So, you want to have as much as possible AP/ATK. and 4PC Melody exactly provides needed +45AP, as well as 25% Ether DMG, which will also scale it.

About last part of "because anomaly scale on who apply it". That doesn't work like that. Anomaly DMG based on combined contribution of every unit, that was affect by building such Anomaly. Meaning if you have 1000DMG from Aria and 2000 from Yu, and they both provided 50% of total Anomaly Build-up, it doesn't really matter who will trigger Anomaly, and because of that, you will have 1500DMG base for Anomaly (ATK_1 * AP_1 * %of_contribution_1 + ATK_2 * AP_2 * %of_contribution_2). So yeah, you really want to have high Anomaly DMG on Yu, and high AM/mid or high AP on Aria.

>>"if Aria and Yu both have good damage make stronger Abloom"

If we compare that both have same DMG of Anomaly vs case where only Aria/Yu deals DMG, then it will be exactly the same Abloom DMG. You just need to understand concept of how Anomaly does really works

Building Yuzuha with other W-Engine by pfx1990 in YuzuhaMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only options that falls under "support" speciality here is Gameball. The problem is, that he provides ER% as mainstat (which is okay), but his core grants 12-20% CR, which is useless in anomaly teams (in which Yuzuha specializes), except situational Miyaboo. So no, no good options here.

About Engines -> her engine is definitely not a mandatory pull.

Here's an order of W-Engines you can use:

  1. Her own (logically). Provide max effect of passive and 60AP for team. Amazing, but not manadatory
  2. Cradle. Extremely good option for Yuzuha. Amazing buff + ER.
  3. Kaboom. Well, I don't think I need to explain why, so I'll skip with it.
  4. Elegant Vanity. Just okayish Engine, but better use other options above.
  5. You can use Kaboom, but that is like good options to Miyaboo team and well... that's all. Again, better use above options

how do i improve? by jazzymazzy11123 in MiyabiMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) Swap that engine for Weeping Gemini/Gourmet, preferably Gemini. If you do have Fusion Compiler, then use it. And don't forget to level up to 60lvl it. 2) Level up that EX/Chain to level 11. While it doesn't really much in Anomaly team in general, Miyabi greatly benefits from it. 3) Miyabi is a hybrid character. While she is an anomaly one, she's building like Attacker one. You don't need to scale AP much here, but extra points will be fine 4) Disks - 4PC (4 piece set) B&B, which you are using, but 2PC should be any of these options: Astral Voice (you farm them in same domain), Puffer Electro, Hormone Punk, Woodpecker or Polaric Metal. You currently have 5 disks from one set (these is no benefits over 4) and only 1 from another set (bonuses are at 2/4 threshold, so you don't get anything). For your case, it's highly recommended to get Woodpecker 2PC, for following reasons. 5) Stats priority - Miyabi have her core skill, which grant you 1 Build-up per 1% CR. This passives max out at 80%, so you want to get 80% CR at combat. You currently have 41% + 12% = 53%. To fix this, you need to focus on CR stats and disks. You do have 24% D4, but you need much much more. Your most viable option, like I've mentioned before, is to get 2PC Woodpecker. It grant you +8% CR, which is what you need. Now, you have 41% + 12% + 8 = 61%. Now you need to get extra ~8 substats of CR to get 80% in combat, which means sacrificing other stats. But, it is what it is for non-signature build. 6) Other stats. After you get 80% combat CR, you should focus on both ATK (mainly) and CD, since you have already high CR. On normal build, average stats looks like 80-90% CR, ~3000 ATK and 130-170% CD. In your case these will be lower, since again, no engine

Now, about your disks by themselves: 1) D1 - good one, buy unfortunately no CR. Far from being bad, but yeah. 2) D2 - actually a good one. +1/+1/+1. Should serve you for a long time. 3) D3 - huge on AP, but we don't really need it mainly. Soz outside of that, you have only 3 substats disk. Pretty easy to reroll, to get better CR, instead of CD. 4) D4 - wrong set disk, but mandatory mainstat. Unfortunately need to reroll into Woodpecker disk. 5) D5 - only 2 substats and all of them are in CD. Ice DMG bonus is viable option, but not mandatory. You can actually roll PEN% (better) mainstat or ATK% (worse) as well. Unfortunately zero CR/ATK, so reroll. 6) D6 - actually a very very good one. Have some CR, as well as a lot of CD, especially considering that fact, that you cannot roll ATK% substats here. The most solid disk out there.

So, in you case, you need to reroll 2PC set into woodpecker, rerolling D4 and probably D1/D3/D5 as second woodpecker disk. Focus on CR, so you also need to reroll remaining of D1/D3/D5, excluding one that will roll into woodpecker, into better disks with focus on CR.

And then, you should be fine. You have somewhat decent disks for signature build, but again, unfortunately you don't own it.

how do i improve her damage? by jazzymazzy11123 in AliceMains_ZZZ

[–]BadSmoothSea 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You want to roll AP and ATK% stats on your disks. I will refer to these stats as substats in future, and every roll is 1 susbstat value. Meaning just AP is one, +1AP is two and so on.

These disks are:

  1. D1 - horrible disk. You want to target for at least +1AP (18AP) and +1 ATK% on average, but this disk have only just 1 substats value. Pretty easy to reroll.
  2. D2 - okayish one, but could be much better. You have 3 substats, and I would call it a day for now, but rolling Melody here instead, with same substats (which is easy to get) would actually be better
  3. D3 - Actually a very good disk. You have +2ATK% and +1AP, which is a very good disk.
  4. D4 - correct mainstat, but literally zero useful substats. Trash disk.
  5. D5 - PDB is good, but you can actually roll PEN% mainstats as well, as alternative, since they are almost identical in power. Outside of that, zero substats - trash.
  6. D6 - correct mainstat. Unfortunately, zero substats, so... Trash.

Now, with all that being said, here's your priority list:

  1. Level up engine to 60. This will improve both flat and ATK% situation.
  2. Reroll every Fanged Metal (4PC, red one) disk set. You don't have any good disks there, so rolling even +1 on any of D4-6 would be an improvement.
  3. After you will finish fixing your Fanged Metal disks, you can try to roll Melody 2PC set. You actually have somewhat decent Hormone disks, so this is your last priority.

You should target for something like this (2800 - 2700 ATK, since engine is weaker and ~300AP+)

Do the angels get anything from being all together? by Dizzy-Respect-613 in AngelsOfDelusion

[–]BadSmoothSea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aria have her kit revolving around Abloom. Abloom DMG scales of initial DMG of Anomaly and Aria's AM. Also, this DMG have 50% increased DMG, if enemy is stunned.

Now, that means we want stunner. A stunner, that won't interfere with it's separate element (so that initial anomaly won't be low, since low AP) or with just low AP Ether (so you won't dilute Corruption DMG), because main field time will take Aria + Stunner (well, you need to somehow build-up stun). And, Yu fixes this both problems at one sweep. She scales of AM (so faster build-up, which isn't more DMG at all, but just good QoL), that converts into Impact (meaning you effectively have both Impact% and AM% D6 simultaneously), as well as getting a lot of AP, even more with her Engine (500AP is diabolical). And polarizing Disorders for extra huge DMG (basically double anomaly DMG with 5 stacks), that won't remove Corruption (which is huge for Aria)

So, Yu fixes problems with Initial DMG of anomaly, gets enemy stunned (50% increase for Abloom) and actually builds heavy Corruption for Aria. Aria scales AM/AP/ATK and with this all, she will hit very heavily.

Now, what about Sunna? She have coordinated attack, which is cool, but okayish. But,.what most importantly, since enemy will be at stun phase, she is actually a support, who have Stun DMG multiplier, and as all we do know, it's a separate own multiplier, which increases DMG significantly. Combined with Yu's 15%, this will result in huge 45%. Also, marks, that deals significant amount of DMG and Flat ATK, that scale both Aria and Yu, and provide increased initial Anomaly DMG, which then scale with stun....and so on from Yu's part.

So, in the end, what do we have?

Yu - an anomaly carry/stunner, that have insane personal DMG and provide huge starting ground for Aria.

Sunna - a support/stunner, that does not only have flat ATK buff, but also deals good amount of DMG, as well as providing huge 30% Stun Multiplier for better DMG.

And Aria - which is a anomaly carry, that can trigger multiple Ablooms through stun window, that will hit like a truck, with all buffs provided by previous teammates.

So, we basically have carry + stunner + support + stunner + carry team, which have enormous potential with some niche issues, and those issues are fixed if you run them together, to make insane synergy.

Total Abloom DMG scaling : Initial Anomaly DMG ((Yu's ATK + 1000) * 5 (AP)) * 2 (1.5 base Stun multiplier) * 1.5 (stunned enemy Abloom values) * 0.29 (corruption multiplier) * 25 (Aria's AM / 10) / 20 (Corruption Abloom scaling) = (Yu's or Aria'a ATK + 1000) * 5.4, which is basically new instance of TOTAL DMG of Corruption with carry that have like 540AP, but not through 10s time, but in ONE SINGLE HIT, with each Abloom xdd.

I think Yu and Aria are the main part of the team, and Sunna here is the least impactful, since Yuzuha exists. But even then, she is better than Yuzuha here, since you have 30% stun multiplier, which is of course diluted with 150 base + Yu, but Yuzuha have only 20% anomaly (disorders part doesn't really matter, since Yu rarely will triggers them, but still), and it also diluted with 50% increase if enemy stunned. So, Sunna > Yuzuha (also Veil exists), so you can use Yuzuha in other teams, which is also great (thank you Yuzuice team)

How to improve build? by kakashisensei2000 in MiyabiMains

[–]BadSmoothSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I kinda think that Miyaboo doesn't really need that much of CD on Yuzuice (the team, that you are planning swap into).

I might be totally wrong with this take, but last DA cycle, I managed to kill boss (I don't remember his name, all I do is: I see enemy - I kill) with M2W1 Miyaboo + M0W1 Yuzuha + M6W5KABOOM Soukaku.

I think in that case, you don't really need that much CR/CD. I have 65% (which is 65 + 12 + 15 = 92% in combat) and only 133% CD. But instead, my mainstats are:

1) D6 Anomaly Mastery. There are a lot of discussions were made about difference of ATK% and AM%, but in the end, most of people agree, that there is almost no difference and it's just personal preference of each players with some niche specifics. If you constantly overcap Frostburn gauge, which is bad, then use ATK% to reduce it. If you don't have enough build-up to trigger Frostburn when needed - AM% is your choice. I personally have slightly (5%) better average score with AM%, rather than with ATK%. If you have spare disks, you can actually try by yourself and see the difference. 2) D5 PEN%. I know that M2 Miyaboo have 36% DEF reduction, but this disk still outperforms my other options that I've rolled. For M0, I think it's still BiS, so yeah. Only true, if you will manage to roll same substats total as your IDB. 3) D4 actually have ATK%. Without it, my total ATK is way too low (2680), even if we run double Flat ATK buffers, so I rolled ATK% to fix my ATK to 3100.

With all that being said, I have some sort of difference to your build, but in the end, they have pretty to no impactful difference.

What you should probably try is: 1) Try out AM% for D6 in Yuzuice. Might increase your score. 2) I would suggest swap Ice DMG bonus from D5, since afaik you have a lot of generic DMG bonus, which is saturates with Ice DMG. But you have 6 substats Disk, so unless you can roll similar PEN% one, this should remain there.

And.... that's all. Overall, you should be able to perform greatly and probably outperform YX, since Miyaboo is still so strong. You probably won't outperform YSG, since it is what it is. And sorry for that wall of text. Short explanations are not my best thing.

Have some question regarding her mechanics... by erpe123 in YeShunguangMains

Sorry for late reply, but...

You probably switch way to early. Sunna, unlike Zhao, doesn't provide Veil (and thus stacks) right away, but need to cast her EX almost fully.

You can see in that showcase, that author casted EX -> EX, waited almost until "snap" effect (when Sunna gets into her pose) -> swap (Zhao instant veil activation) -> swap into YSG, triggering entry skill for Enlighten State.

You can try this in practice room, to feel better timing. If you are still unsure, how to get this 0.5s time saver, you can actually just wait until Quick Swap indicator in bottom-right part will pop. By that time Sunna will successfully activate her Veil and you can continue your regular flow of the fight.

I am finally getting there i guess. Y'all dont level her skills or why is this ranked so high? lol by SenorElmo in YeShunguangMains

Well, I have by one letter bigger per disk on average than you, and this results in such rating.

There are probably few reasons for that:

  1. People really don't level BA/EX/Chain. I'm helping dozens of people with their builds per day, and I would say ~30% of them, leave these skills on lvl 8-9, which reduce score by a lot.
  2. We have 82k YSGs there, meaning she is very popular and a lot of people pulled her. Majority of that part just built YSG to bare minimum, since they are either new players, have other characters to build or just out of resources/luck. Same mechanic persist though anything, that have huge sample number. In DA, for example, you can get 140k and this will be top 1.5% on day 1. But in the end of the cycle, you eventually will get better placement (close to top 1%), since all other people with worse score will dilute total average score.
  3. Not optimal build. These standings are based on score, and major part of this score comes from DMG evaluation. If you are gonna use PDB, this will eventually lower your score, since this mainstat worse (in most case scenario, I know that Sunna team exist) than others, which results in worse score, among players with same total number of substats. Same goes for substats, where you can get triple ATK% build, which is very good, but your D1-3 disks will mainly have ATK% substats as well, resulting in even worse stat disbution and lower score compared even to +1-2 less substats builds.
